TPO - The old house with its distinct French architecture in the heart of Da Nang City attracts many young people who come to take photos, especially on weekends.
The century-old house, located on Tran Quoc Toan Street (Hai Chau District), has two floors and retains its original architectural style. On the outside, the massive house's paint has faded, and moss clinging to it further enhances its antique charm. |
From early morning, many Gen Z photographers flocked to the old house, surrounding the area in front and behind it to take pictures. The young people said they had visited many tourist spots and beautiful places in Da Nang, but were still captivated by the old house. There are many beautiful photo spots around the house, especially on the second floor. |
Ms. Thu Yen (residing in Cam Le district) said: "This is the first time I've set foot in this century-old house in the heart of Da Nang. The old walls, the ancient tiled roof, and the wooden window frames have a beautiful antique charm, bearing the marks of time." |
"The old house has many beautiful photo spots, making it an extremely attractive destination for young people, especially Gen Z like me. Here, you can freely pose and take pictures with the house's antique charm, creating many unique and eye-catching photos," said Nguyen Thi Ai My, a student at Duy Tan University. |
After more than a century and through many ups and downs, the house still retains its unique architecture, with three layers of doors and details that are distinctly Western in style. |
This place also attracts design and architecture students because the house has a distinctly French architectural style. The homeowner says the house was built over 100 years ago, and back then, cement and steel had to be transported from France, taking many years to complete. The house has been passed down through three generations and holds long-standing cultural and historical value. Despite being hundreds of years old, the house remains undamaged to this day. |
