These figures were reported by the Chairman of the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province, Do Minh Tuan, to Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and members of the delegation during their visit to offer incense at the Lam Kinh Special Historical Relic Site (Tho Xuan district), and to visit and present gifts to policy beneficiary families, poor households, and workers in Ngoc Lac district on January 26th.
At the Lam Kinh Special Historical Site and while presenting gifts to families receiving preferential treatment in Ngoc Lac district, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and members of the delegation respectfully offered incense to commemorate Emperor Le Thai To, the kings of the Later Le Dynasty, and the heroes and patriots of Lam Son; and reported to the spirits of their ancestors about the achievements of the homeland and the country in the period of reform and international integration.

Before the sacred altar of Emperor Le Thai To and other ancestors, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and members of the delegation expressed their gratitude to the national hero Le Loi, the kings of the Le dynasty, and the distinguished officials and patriots of the Lam Son army who made immense contributions to the historical process of nation-building and national defense.
On the same day, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh visited and presented gifts to families receiving preferential treatment, poor households, and workers in Ngoc Lac district, Thanh Hoa province.
On behalf of the provincial leadership, Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Do Minh Tuan reported to Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and members of the delegation on the preparations for visiting and giving Tet gifts to policy beneficiary families, people with meritorious services to the revolution, poor households, workers, and laborers with difficult circumstances in Thanh Hoa province.
Accordingly, during the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Snake (2015), Thanh Hoa province paid preferential allowances for January and February to more than 64,000 people who rendered meritorious services to the revolution and their relatives, with a total budget of over 420 billion VND; and paid social allowances for January 2025 to 187,494 individuals and households caring for and nurturing social welfare beneficiaries, with a total budget of over 142 billion VND.
Providing care, treatment, ensuring good policies and regulations, and organizing Tet celebrations and Spring festivities for over 2,000 individuals being cared for, nurtured, and managed at public social assistance facilities, rehabilitation centers for people with meritorious service to the revolution, and drug rehabilitation centers in the province.
Provincial authorities and departments have allocated budgets and mobilized social resources totaling 375.192 billion VND in cash and goods to donate to policy beneficiary families, poor households, and people in difficult circumstances.

On behalf of the Party and State leaders, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh visited, presented gifts, and extended New Year greetings to the Party Committee, military, and people of Thanh Hoa province. He expressed his delight at the outstanding achievements of the Party Committee, government, and people of Thanh Hoa province in recent years, especially in 2024, with double-digit economic growth, high budget revenue, and ensured social welfare. He particularly noted that the Party Committee, government, and people continue to promote and maintain unity within the Party, the entire political system, and among the people.
The Prime Minister stated that, as a province encompassing mountainous, plain, and coastal areas; possessing diverse transportation options; and boasting a large population and rich historical, cultural, and revolutionary traditions, Thanh Hoa has leveraged its potential, strengths, and advantages for development. In particular, it is crucial to prioritize human resources, focusing on their well-being, ensuring social security, progress, fairness, and equality, and improving the material and spiritual lives of its people, especially policy beneficiary families, impoverished households, workers, and laborers working on construction sites during the Lunar New Year season. The goal is to ensure that no one is left without a celebration and that no one is left behind.
The Prime Minister emphasized that 2025 is a particularly significant year, with many important tasks: continuing to reorganize the administrative apparatus; promoting economic growth of 8%, striving for double-digit growth in the future; reviewing and striving to complete the socio-economic development targets for the 2021-2025 period; organizing Party congresses at all levels, leading up to the 14th National Party Congress; and organizing celebrations of major national holidays…
