At the ceremony, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Journalists Association presented Decision No. 190/QD-HNBVN establishing the Journalists' Branch of the Citizen and Education Promotion Magazine.

After more than a year of being online, the magazine's appearance and content have increasingly improved, receiving recognition and high praise from the Central Standing Committee of the Association, the Central Propaganda Department, and local associations for promoting learning and talent, for its support in disseminating information about promoting learning and talent development, and building a learning society.
The Journal of Citizenship and Education Promotion is a specialized journal focusing on promoting education and talent, building a learning society, and holds a prominent position in the journalistic community, fulfilling the tasks assigned by the Party and the State.
In addition, some scholars, scientists, and educators also appreciate the Journal of Citizenship and Education Promotion for its many works that demonstrate a high level of awareness, depth of ideals, and breadth of culture, pioneering the way in promoting education and talent development, and building a learning society.
This achievement is thanks to the support of the Central Propaganda Department, the Ministry of Information and Communications, and the Central Vietnam Association for the Promotion of Learning, along with the efforts of the staff and reporters.
The Vice President and General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Association for the Promotion of Learning expressed his wish that the staff, reporters, and editors of the Citizen and Learning Promotion Magazine continue to hone their skills and create high-quality journalistic works that are thought-provoking, centered on learning, and promote a learning society and lifelong learning.
Within a short period, the Journal of Citizenship and Education established a Party branch and formed the Journalists' Association - a socio-political and professional organization.
Party members continue to lead by example, and members of the Journalists' Association of the Magazine encourage cadres, editors, and reporters to cultivate strong political resolve, professional expertise, and profound intellect.

On this occasion, the Journalists' Association of the Citizen and Education Promotion Magazine successfully held its first General Assembly for the 2023-2025 term. The General Assembly unanimously elected Comrade Truong Thi Thuy Hang and Comrade Nguyen Manh Chien to the Secretariat of the Association.

The branch has set key tasks for this term, including: - Strive to operate the online magazine effectively, improving the quality and quantity of in-depth articles on promoting learning and talent development; - 100% of members have studied and thoroughly understood the 2016 Press Law, and have committed to not violating the Press Law, the 10 regulations on professional ethics for Vietnamese journalists, and the rules for using social media by Vietnamese journalists. - 100% of members registered for the emulation campaign and successfully implemented the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style. - 80% of members participate in professional and political training courses organized by the Vietnam Journalists Association. - Actively participate in writing competitions and professional activities organized by the Vietnam Journalists Association and the Propaganda Departments at all levels. - Membership will be granted to 100% of eligible journalists who meet the criteria. - Maintain branch meetings once every three months with practical content. - Promote and organize practical activities to commemorate the founding day of the Vietnam Journalists Association and the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press Day. |
