Born into a poor family, Ms. Vo Thi Dao always believes that "investing in children's education is the top priority". With sacrifice and hard work, she has raised two children to adulthood and success. The eldest son graduated in Information Technology and is currently working at VNPT Binh Son, the second daughter also affirmed her ability when she graduated in Chemistry Pedagogy taught in English and is working at Le Khiet High School for the Gifted.
Notably, Ms. Dao chooses National Day, September 2nd, every year as an occasion to celebrate family traditions and to organize scholarship awards for her children and grandchildren with excellent academic achievements. For her, this is a material encouragement, as well as a way to educate her children and grandchildren about patriotism, studiousness, sharing and family solidarity.
Every year, Ms. Vo Thi Dao's children and grandchildren with good academic achievements receive scholarships from the family's Scholarship Fund.
Ms. Dao's family's scholarship fund is maintained from 10 to 15 million VND per year, with specific rewards: students who pass the university entrance exam or have excellent high school achievements are awarded 1 million VND, middle school students 500,000 VND, primary and preschool students 300,000 VND. These simple but practical rewards have become a source of encouragement for generations of children to strive to excel in their studies.
As a loyal wife and gentle mother, Ms. Dao also always cares for and helps those in difficult circumstances in the community. That devotion and kindness makes her image even more approachable.

Speaking about Ms. Vo Thi Dao, Ms. Tran Thi Ai Viet - President of the Women's Union of Son Tinh commune affirmed: Ms. Vo Thi Dao is one of the exemplary members, actively participating in movements and activities launched by the Union and the locality. Her quiet but practical actions have contributed to arousing the spirit of studiousness in the family and community, spreading good values to many people.
Ms. Ai Viet also emphasized that in order for the work of encouraging learning and talent to spread more and more, the Association will continue to promote propaganda and encourage each member family to become a shining example in learning. Women need to be aware of their role as the first teacher of their children, from daily teaching to forming the awareness that learning is an important goal. Encouraging and motivating children through rewards and small but meaningful gifts will give them more motivation to strive to excel.
According to her, the vitality of the movement to encourage learning and talent comes from the attention of the Association and from each member. When women become role models for self-study and actively contribute to local funds to encourage learning and talent, the spirit of studiousness will truly become a driving force, spreading throughout the community.
