On August 9th, at Thong Nhat Park ( Hanoi ), the Central Youth Union Council, the Vietnam Children's Support and Development Center, and related units organized the "Vietnamese Children - Creative Learning" festival.
Targeting children aged 6-10 (primary school level), the event contributes to the implementation of the Education Development Strategy to 2030, with a vision to 2045, and the Prime Minister's "Building a Model of Learning Citizens Program giai đoạn 2021-2030".
This is not only a meaningful activity for children, but also a space to nurture intellect, inspire creativity, spread a positive learning spirit, and develop comprehensive skills for the younger generation.
The activities within the framework of the Children's Day series, implemented since February 2025, aim to help children access knowledge in an accessible way, develop comprehensive skills and moral qualities, and fulfill their rights and responsibilities according to the Law on Children.
According to Le Anh Quan, Vice Chairman of the Central Youth Union Council and Director of the Vietnam Children's Support and Development Center, the highlight of the event is a set of life skills communication products with videos promoting drowning prevention, escaping from being trapped in a car, first aid, communication skills, teamwork, personal health protection, and confidence in front of crowds…
These products have been widely disseminated on social media, as well as in troop and group meetings and extracurricular activities at 150 schools across the country.
The organizers of today's festival awarded 80 scholarships, each worth one million dong, to outstanding children nationwide who have overcome difficulties to excel in their studies, achieved excellent results in their training, and participated actively in the Youth Union activities.
