On July 10, the Food Safety Department () announced that this agency has just issued decisions to revoke the validity of the Certificate of Product Declaration Registration for a number of health protection foods of Nam Son Pharmaceutical Company Limited and Khai Anh Organic Pharmaceutical Company Limited.

Specifically, in Decision No. 320/QD-ATTP dated July 8, 2025, the Food Safety Department revoked the validity of the Product Declaration Registration Receipt No. 6861/2022/DKSP issued on November 30, 2022 for the health protection food product KA Ekids. This product was announced by Khai Anh Organic Pharmaceutical Company Limited (address: No. 90, San Street, Bac Giang Province).

According to the information introduced, KA Ekids product is a product for children, helping children eat well and gain weight naturally.

In Decision No. 319/QD-ATTP dated July 8, 2025, the Food Safety Department also revoked the validity of the Product Declaration Registration Receipt No. 5341/2018/DKSP issued on August 20, 2018 for the health protection food product Dao Hong Don Venus. This product was announced by Nam Son Pharmaceutical Company Limited (address: No. 35 Cu Loc, km6 Nguyen Trai, Hanoi ).

According to the information introduced, the product Dao Hong Don Venus helps improve the condition of female hormone deficiency, helps firm breasts, helps reduce melasma and dark skin due to female hormone deficiency. For women in menopause, premenopause, and female hormone deficiency with symptoms: hot flashes, decreased physiology, women who want to take care of and beautify breasts and skin.

It is known that from April until now, the Food Safety Department has continuously issued decisions to revoke the validity of the Certificate of Registration of Product Declaration of many health protection foods on the grounds that the enterprises voluntarily withdrew the related documents.

Health protection foods are a group of functional foods. In terms of State management, all products classified as health protection foods must be declared by the enterprise responsible for submitting the application and be granted a Certificate of Product Registration by the Food Safety Department before being circulated, along with many other documents. When the validity of this certificate is revoked, the products declared by that company will no longer be circulated on the market.
