Permanent Deputy Minister Le Hai Binh in charge of press and television

Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung has just signed a decision on the assignment of duties within the ministry's leadership.

Accordingly, the Minister comprehensively leads and manages all aspects of the ministry's work; directly directs and oversees areas such as: strategy, planning, and investment in the development of the culture, sports, tourism, and press sectors; Party building; internal political security; anti-corruption; and practicing thrift and combating waste.

The Minister directly oversees and directs units such as the Department of Organization and Personnel; the Department of Planning and Finance; the Department of Legal Affairs; and the Department of International Cooperation; and monitors and directs the work of the sector in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

Permanent Deputy Minister Le Hai Binh directly oversees and directs the following areas: press and media; radio, television, and electronic information; grassroots information and external information; and research in culture, arts, sports, and tourism.

In addition, Deputy Minister Le Hai Binh also assists the Minister in monitoring and directing professional work for the following agencies and units: the Press Department; the Radio, Television and Electronic Information Department; the Department of Grassroots Information and External Information; the Ministry's Office and public service units (Culture Newspaper; Culture and Arts Magazine; Vietnam Institute of Culture, Arts, Sports and Tourism).

Monitoring and directing the work of the sector in the provinces and cities of the Northeast and Red River Delta regions. Performing other tasks as assigned by the Minister.

Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong oversees and directs the following areas within the Ministry: performing arts; film; fine arts, photography and exhibitions; state management of literature; administrative reform; and national defense and security.

Deputy Minister Trinh Thi Thuy oversees and directs the following areas: grassroots culture, family, libraries; ethnic culture; emulation, commendation and inspection.

Deputy Minister Hoang Dao Cuong oversees and directs the fields of physical education and sports, cultural heritage, and museums. He assists the Minister in monitoring and directing professional work for the following agencies and units: the Department of Physical Education and Sports; the Department of Cultural Heritage; and other public service units.

Deputy Minister Ho An Phong oversees and directs the following areas: tourism; copyright; cultural industry; innovation and enterprise development; socialization in the fields of culture, family, physical education, sports and tourism.

Deputy Minister Phan Tâm oversees and directs the following areas: publishing, printing and distribution; training and fostering knowledge of state management in culture, sports, and tourism; science, technology and environment; and digital transformation.

In addition, Deputy Minister Phan Tam also assists the Minister in monitoring and directing professional work for the following agencies and units: the Department of Publishing, Printing and Distribution; the Department of Science, Technology, Training and Environment; and other affiliated units.
