During the meeting with Minister of Economy and Planning Faisal Al-Ibrahim, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh congratulated Saudi Arabia on its great achievements in diversifying and developing non-oil economic sectors, promoting the application of science and technology, innovation, prioritizing green and sustainable development, and working towards realizing the goals of its "Vision 2030" strategy.
Affirming that the Vietnam-Saudi Arabia cooperative relationship is developing very well and has much potential for further cooperation, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh proposed that the two economies strengthen connectivity, coordinate the organization of trade and investment promotion activities, prioritizing areas such as energy, finance and banking, and enhance cooperation in new fields such as Halal product manufacturing and processing, and digital transformation.

In the field of trade, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh proposed that both sides create favorable conditions for each other's strong products to penetrate each other's markets; and coordinate to promptly resolve obstacles in the export of Vietnamese farmed seafood to Saudi Arabia. To facilitate enhanced cooperation, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh suggested that both sides increase exchanges of delegations, people-to-people and cultural exchanges, share development experiences, and promote transportation and air connectivity.
Minister Faisal Al-Ibrahim highly appreciated the achievements of the Vietnamese Government in managing and developing the economy, affirming that he will closely coordinate with the Ministry of Industry and Mines and the Chairman of the Saudi Arabian side of the Vietnam-Saudi Arabia Intergovernmental Committee in the coming time to further deepen economic cooperation with Vietnam, especially in trade and investment, emphasizing that the two countries can utilize each other's markets as gateways to expand exports to other markets in the region.
The Saudi Arabian Minister of Economy and Planning expressed his desire to visit Vietnam soon and finalize negotiations and sign cooperation agreements with Vietnamese partners.
To achieve the above objectives, both sides agreed to study the establishment of joint working groups on economic matters and to hold the 5th Joint Committee meeting soon, as well as to study ways to improve the effectiveness of this mechanism in reviewing and promoting bilateral cooperation.

During the meeting with Minister of Human Resources and Social Development Ahmed Al-Rajhi, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh highly appreciated the positive developments in bilateral relations in recent times; affirming that labor is an important and indispensable area of cooperation, especially in the context of Saudi Arabia implementing many large-scale urban and infrastructure projects... as part of its "Vision 2030" strategy.
To further enhance the effectiveness of cooperation in this field, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh proposed that both sides strengthen exchanges between labor management agencies, promote cooperation in training, connect labor markets, and accelerate the completion of the legal framework for labor cooperation to support each other in supplementing high-quality human resources in the process of national development.
Welcoming Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's visit to Saudi Arabia, Minister of Human Resources and Social Development Ahmed Al-Rajhi stated that Saudi Arabia has many ambitious goals in the field of human resources and labor, including a plan to increase the number of foreign workers to 10 million in the near future in various sectors, especially industrial production, energy, healthcare, and tourism.
Minister Al-Rajhi highly appreciated the quality of the Vietnamese workforce, including highly skilled workers, and affirmed that the potential for cooperation in this field remains very large. Minister Al-Rajhi expressed his desire for both sides to cooperate and promptly resolve current difficulties in labor cooperation to bring more Vietnamese workers to Saudi Arabia in the future, especially regarding the legal framework, training cooperation, and building an effective recruitment mechanism.
