The competition attracted nearly 50 elementary and middle school students. Each participating group designed costumes using recycled materials such as milk cartons, soda cans, plastic bottles, newspapers, old notebooks, plastic bags, straws, etc. The teams went through two rounds of competition: a performance and a presentation. As a result, the organizers selected 8 groups to compete in the final round.
The students performed a fashion show wearing outfits made from recycled materials.
