Accordingly, the two sides will share information related to tourism policies, tourism market trends, tourism statistics, and promote exchanges between tourism businesses of both sides; support member businesses of the Vietnam Tourism Association in developing and promoting Korean tourism programs; strive to improve the quality of Korean tourism programs and ensure the rights of Vietnamese tourists when visiting Korea; and encourage Vietnamese tourism businesses to improve the quality of service for Korean tourists visiting Vietnam.
The two sides also cooperate in organizing tourism promotion activities such as tourism fairs, seminars, fam tours, etc.
The cooperation agreement between the two sides serves as a foundation for building highly professional Vietnam-Korea tourism programs, encompassing research on customer needs, product development, advertising, tourist consultation, and the organization of tours between the two countries.
At the same time, it is necessary to promote awareness of responsibility among tourism companies in organizing and managing tours, and guiding tourists to comply with the laws of both countries.
Through this cooperation agreement, the two sides will closely coordinate with state tourism management agencies to strengthen the quality management of tourism programs, ensuring the rights of tourists such as travel insurance, quality assurance, shopping for goods, etc.; and closely coordinate the management of tour groups to ensure that tourists reach their destinations and return safely.
In addition, other measures include developing a healthy outbound and inbound market for South Korea, contributing to increasing the number of South Korean tourists visiting Vietnam, making South Korea the largest source market for Vietnamese tourism; and promoting the trend of Vietnamese tourists visiting South Korea, making South Korea a preferred destination for Vietnamese people...
Immediately after the signing, the two sides will coordinate the implementation of several activities, including: a survey trip to Jeonnam and Jeonbuk, South Korea, to explore new tourism products, and the Korea Tourism Organization will participate in promoting Korean tourism at the Vietnam International Tourism Fair - Can Tho 2023.
