The Propaganda Subcommittee of the 20th Congress of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee held its first session.

On the afternoon of September 24, the Propaganda Subcommittee of the 20th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, held its first working session. Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hoang Nghia Hieu, Head of the Propaganda Subcommittee chaired the meeting. Attending the meeting were Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Dinh Long and members of the Subcommittee.

Overview of the meeting.

In preparation for the 20th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, the Provincial Party Executive Committee established 4 sub-committees: Documents Sub-committee, Personnel Sub-committee, Service Organization Sub-committee and Propaganda Sub-committee. In which, the Propaganda Sub-committee consists of 22 members, with the key task of developing and submitting to the Provincial Party Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Standing Committee a plan to propagate the Congress; directing and organizing the implementation of the Congress propaganda plan; and reporting on the summary of the Congress propaganda work.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Dinh Long spoke at the meeting.

Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department Pham Ngoc Canh spoke at the meeting.

Comrade Tran Minh Ngoc - Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association, Director of Nghe An Radio and Television Station spoke at the meeting.

At the meeting, members gave their opinions on the following drafts: Regulations are the work of the Subcommittee; propaganda plan for Party congresses at all levels, the 20th Provincial Party Congress and the 14th National Party Congress; notice of assignment of tasks to Subcommittee members; decision to establish a Working Group.

In his concluding remarks, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hoang Nghia Hieu agreed that the propaganda plan is divided into 3 phases: From October 2024 to the 20th Congress of the Provincial Party Committee (expected in October 2025); from after the 20th Congress of the Provincial Party Committee to the 14th Congress of the Party and after the closing of the 14th Congress of the Party. For effective propaganda work, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested: Members of the Propaganda Subcommittee, based on the tasks and fields that the sector and unit are in charge of, need to make great efforts to promote their role and responsibility towards the Subcommittee to complete the assigned tasks. Propaganda work before, during and after the Party congresses at all levels must ensure the correct direction, political orientation and ideology of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; the forms of propaganda must be diverse, rich, vivid and specific, creating an exciting atmosphere and confidence in the results of the Party congresses at all levels, the 20th Congress of the Provincial Party Committee, and the 14th Congress of the Party.

In particular, it is important to pay attention to and focus on propagating the exemplary responsibility of cadres, party members, and party organizations; examples of "good people, good deeds", good models, creative and typical advanced ways of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, in patriotic emulation movements as well as the determination and efforts of the entire Party, people and army of the province in successfully implementing the Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025, Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and striving to complete the socio -economic development plan targets of the province in 2025. The Head of the Propaganda Subcommittee also requested to pay attention to orienting and organizing well the collection of opinions from all walks of life for draft documents submitted to Party congresses at all levels, the 20th National Party Congress of the province, and the 14th National Party Congress; actively protect the Party's ideological foundation, proactively prevent and promptly combat all actions of hostile forces that take advantage of opinion gathering to disseminate incorrect and negative information and viewpoints, and sabotage the Party and the State. Comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu assigned specific immediate tasks to relevant agencies and units in the Propaganda Subcommittee.
