Tim Cook stays in a 170 million VND room and has French dinner in Hanoi

When arriving in Hanoi , Apple CEO Tim Cook stayed in a hotel room that cost 170 million VND a night and had dinner at a French restaurant.

During his two-day working visit to Vietnam on April 15-16, Tim Cook had an evening to himself, according to a representative of the Sofitel Legend Metropole hotel. He stayed in one of the hotel's most luxurious rooms located in the Opera Wing on Ly Thai To Street. The room's published price starts at VND170 million, excluding taxes and fees.

"A simple and approachable style is what is most evident in this CEO," said a hotel representative.

In the evening, Tim Cook had a quick meal in the private dining room of the French restaurant - Le Beaulieu. This is a restaurant associated with the hotel's more than 120-year history with a luxurious, classic style mixed with modernity, designed in white, gold and quartz green tones. The restaurant is located on the first floor, overlooking the intersection of Ngo Quyen and Le Phung Hieu streets.

"Tim Cook's dinner menu was created by the restaurant's French chef, Charles Degrendele, and his team of chefs," the hotel added, adding that Cook loves salads.

On the morning of April 15, as soon as he arrived in Vietnam, he enjoyed egg coffee with singers My Linh and My Anh at a restaurant on Hang Be street and expressed his love for this drink on page X.

Tim Cook met with a wide range of people, including Vietnam’s Prime Minister , content creators and developers, as Apple announced an increased commitment to Vietnam, increased payments to suppliers, and new progress on an initiative to support clean water for local schools.
