On his way home from work, a man in Quang Nam province was riding his motorbike through a flooded section of road when he was unfortunately swept away by floodwaters.
Mr. Pham Phu Thai, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Que Loc commune (Nong Son district, Quang Nam province), said that the body of Mr. Phan Quynh S. (born in 1980, residing in Tan Phong village, Que Loc commune), who was swept away by floodwaters, was found at 2 am today (November 6).
Earlier, at around 4:30 PM on November 5th, while returning home from work as a construction worker, Mr. S. was riding his motorbike through a flooded section of road on Provincial Road 611, near Son Vien Cemetery (Loc Trung Hamlet, Que Loc Commune), when he was unfortunately swept away by the strong current of the floodwaters.

Upon discovering the incident, one local resident rushed to help but it was too late. Receiving the report, authorities quickly arrived at the scene and searched for the victim throughout the night.
Reportedly, Mr. S. was the main breadwinner of the family. The victim leaves behind his 76-year-old mother, wife, and three young children.
