Dan Phuong district has now halted the auction of 26 land plots.

On September 18th, the National Auction Company No. 5 announced the temporary suspension of the Dan Phuong land auction for 26 land use rights in the Trung Vo area, Tan Hoi commune (Dan Phuong district, Hanoi ). The reason is that the Dan Phuong District Land Fund Development Center sent a document requesting a review of the procedures and auction plan in accordance with the new Land Law.

The auction will be conducted in accordance with the law and will be publicly announced after the decision and proposal from the Dan Phuong District Land Development Center.

Previously, the aforementioned auction was scheduled to be held on October 5th. At that time, according to the announcement, the land plots had areas ranging from 75-102.2m2, with a starting price of 13.1 million VND/m2. The auction format was a multi-round direct voting process, with a minimum of 6 mandatory rounds. Notably, the bidding increment was quite large at 12 million VND/m2/increment.

Recently, on September 10th, Dan Phuong district announced the organization of a land auction in the Dong Say - Tram Sau area (phase 2) on September 30th. Specifically, land plots ranging in size from 55-99m2 will have a starting price of 14 million VND/m2. Bidders will have to deposit between 193 and 278 million VND per plot.

The auction will be conducted through multiple rounds of direct voting, with a minimum of five mandatory rounds. The multiple rounds of direct voting at the auction will end when no one continues to bid.

Previously, at the end of July, Dan Phuong district held an auction of 85 land plots, including 2 plots in the Dong Say - Tram Sau area (phase 3), with a starting price of 42 million VND/m2; 67 plots in the N1 road area, Ha Mo commune, with starting prices ranging from 40 million VND/m2 to 51 million VND/m2; and 16 plots in the De Nhi area, Phuong Dinh commune (phase 2), with starting prices ranging from 35 million VND to 41 million VND/m2.

The total number of bids submitted for the aforementioned auction reached 1,252. Notably, at the end of the auction, the highest winning bid reached 99.2 million VND/m2, double the starting price.

Prior to Dan Phuong district, a number of districts including Thanh Oai, Hoai Duc, and Ha Dong district had also announced the temporary suspension of land auctions.

Specifically, on August 29th, the Vietnam Auction Partnership Company announced the temporary suspension of the auction for the right to use 57 plots of land in the Dam area, Muc Xa village, Cao Duong commune, Thanh Oai district, Hanoi (Phase 1).

The reason given is that the People's Committee of Thanh Oai District issued Official Document No. 2421 regarding the temporary suspension of the land use rights auction for 114 plots of land in Cao Duong commune. Accordingly, customers who have registered to participate in the auction will have their application fees refunded within 2 working days from the date of this notice.

The auction for land use rights for 27 plots of land in the following areas: Ha Khau rice paddy area, Dong Danh - Dong Coc area, Dong Bo - Dong Chuc - Cua Cau - Dong Men area; Chua Sau area and Duoc area in three wards, including Phu Luong, Yen Nghia and Duong Noi, Ha Dong district (Hanoi), scheduled for September 7th, has also been temporarily suspended.

The auction organizer stated that the suspension of the auction was made at the request of the Ha Dong District Investment and Construction Project Management Board. The auction will be held in accordance with regulations as soon as a decision is made by the competent authority.

On August 22nd, Lac Viet Auction Company announced the temporary suspension of the auction scheduled for August 26th, which included 20 land plots LK01 and LK02, and the auction scheduled for September 9th for 32 land plots LK05 and LK06.

The announcement stated that customers who registered to participate in the auction, purchased the application form, and paid the deposit will have their applications reserved or receive a full refund in accordance with regulations. The Hoai Duc District People's Committee will announce the next auction date later.

Previously, Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Le Minh Ngan signed a document sent to the Hanoi People's Committee informing them of the dispatch of a surprise inspection team to examine the land use rights auction process in Thanh Oai and Hoai Duc districts (Hanoi).

On August 10th, Thanh Oai district successfully held an auction for 68 plots of land in Ngo Ba area, Thanh Than village, Thanh Cao commune (Thanh Oai, Hanoi), with areas ranging from 60-85m2 and starting prices from 8.6 million VND/m2 to 12.5 million VND/m2. The auction attracted 4,600 applications, but only 4,201 applications from 1,545 people met the eligibility criteria.

Notably, at the end of the auction, the corner lot fetched the highest price at nearly 100.5 million VND/m2, eight times higher than the starting price. Regular lots had winning bids of 63-80 million VND/m2, 5 to 6.4 times higher than the starting price.

Recently, information from the Land Development Center of Thanh Oai District (Hanoi) indicated that only 13 land plots had received full payment, with winning bids ranging from 51-55 million VND/m2. The plot with the highest winning bid of 100.5 million VND/m2 had its deposit forfeited.

Most recently, on August 19th, the auction of 19 land plots in areas LK03 and LK04, Long Khuc village, Tien Yen commune, Hoai Duc district, Hanoi, continued to attract the attention and participation of a large number of people. The 19 land plots offered for auction ranged from approximately 74-118m2. The starting price was 7.3 million VND/m2. The deposit amount ranged from 109 to 172 million VND per plot.

After a 20-hour auction, 19 land plots were successfully sold. The highest winning bid reached 133.3 million VND/m2, more than 18 times the starting price, while the lowest bid was still 91.3 million VND/m2, 12.5 times the starting price.

Both auctions caused a stir due to the exceptionally high winning bids. In fact, the winning bids were many times higher than the regional market price.
