On the morning of October 19, the Ministry of Public Security held a groundbreaking ceremony for the PVF Stadium, which has a capacity of 60,000 seats and uses the most modern dome technology in Vietnam and is the most advanced in the world.

Also attending the groundbreaking ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc, Member of the Political Bureau, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee ; Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thang, Member of the Political Bureau, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy; Mr. Nguyen Van Nen, Member of the Political Bureau, Standing Member of the Subcommittee on Documents for the 14th Party Congress; General Phan Van Giang, Member of the Political Bureau, Minister of National Defense; and General Luong Tam Quang, Member of the Political Bureau, Minister of Public Security.

Attending the ceremony were Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Quang Phuong, representatives from ministries, departments, localities, and businesses that support the People's Police football team.

The stadium is located within the PVF Youth Football Training Center in Nghia Tru commune (Hung Yen province), with the Ministry of Public Security as the investor and Vinhomes Joint Stock Company, a subsidiary of Vingroup, as the general contractor.

In his opening remarks at the ceremony, General Luong Tam Quang stated that the PVF stadium construction project, located within the People's Police sports complex, is an important cultural and sports institution that contributes to realizing the aspiration for the highest level of development of People's Police sports in particular and Vietnamese sports in general.

The project is expected to create further impetus for the comprehensive development of Vietnamese people, contributing to the goal of building a strong and prosperous nation in accordance with the Party's policy.

"This will also be a place where people can participate in physical activities, improve their health, and make the nationwide movement of physical training following the example of the great President Ho Chi Minh a habit and a daily way of life. Through this, it will contribute to strengthening the close relationship between the police force and the people," Minister Luong Tam Quang emphasized.

A top-tier sports facility in Asia, capable of hosting World Cup matches.

At the ceremony, Mr. Pham Thieu Hoa, Chairman of Vinhomes Joint Stock Company, stated that the PVF stadium is envisioned to become a top-tier sports facility in Asia, located within a 92-hectare sports and service complex, with a capacity of 60,000 seats, meeting FIFA standards, and qualified to host major international matches such as the World Cup.

"This is also the first stadium in Vietnam to be equipped with a modern automatic retractable roof, modeled after and using technology from AT&T Stadium (USA) - currently the stadium with the largest retractable roof in the world."

"Another outstanding feature of the PVF stadium is its giant dome roof design, which can be fully opened and closed in just 12-20 minutes – a technology being applied for the first time in Vietnam," said Mr. Pham Thieu Hoa.

Designed with a contemporary vision and world-leading advanced technology, the PVF stadium, once operational, will not only serve the physical training and morale-boosting needs of police officers and soldiers, but will also be the focal point for national and international events.

"Given the significance of this key sports project, we are committed to implementing it with the utmost urgency, discipline, and responsibility. We will mobilize the best resources and focus on closely managing quality, progress, and construction safety at every stage."

"Each construction item will be implemented rigorously, ensuring it adheres to the design, technical standards, and legal regulations. We will also pay special attention to sustainability, environmental protection, landscape preservation, and ensuring absolute safety for workers," Mr. Hoa pledged.

The stadium covers an area of ​​over 55,000 m², with a capacity of 60,000 seats, including 4 main stands A, B, C, D and specialized areas: technical, security, broadcast control center, press, players' area, VIP area, and service - food and beverage.

In addition, the stadium features an outdoor plaza and a modern 18-hectare parking lot.

The roofing material utilizes advanced PTFE, which allows for natural light transmission, resists heat absorption, blocks UV rays, and reduces noise, keeping the interior space cool, saving energy, and maintaining superior durability over time.

The pitch utilizes hybrid modular turf technology – a combination of natural grass and synthetic fibers – which increases durability, allows for quick drainage, withstands heavy loads, and facilitates maintenance.

The stadium is equipped with a large LED screen system and modern sound and lighting equipment for live television broadcasts, providing a vivid visual experience for the audience.
