Vietnam and Kazakhstan will have their first direct flight in November 2022, with more and more direct flights connecting famous tourist cities of the two countries. Through Kazakhstan, Vietnam can further promote cooperation with the Eurasian Economic Union, open up economic and transportation cooperation in the Central Asian region, thereby accessing the European market.

Trade turnover between Vietnam and Azerbaijan in 2024 will reach nearly 52 million USD. The two countries have tradition and experience in the field of oil and gas training.

The two sides are considering opening flights between each other’s famous tourist cities and direct air transport routes between the two countries. Local cooperation between Ha Giang and the Kalbajar region is being promoted.

Vietnam and Russia celebrate 75 years of diplomatic relations this year. The two countries established a comprehensive strategic partnership in 2012.

Security and defense cooperation is promoted in many directions and diverse aspects, being a pillar in bilateral relations. Trade exchange in 2024 reached nearly 4.6 billion USD, an increase of more than 26% over the same period last year.

Oil and gas - energy is an important pillar in bilateral cooperation, the two sides are negotiating and promoting the signing of documents in the fields of geological exploration and oil and gas exploitation; interested in restoring and promoting cooperation in the nuclear field and developing nuclear power in Vietnam. There are about 60,000-80,000 Vietnamese people living in Russia.

Belarusian senior leaders have repeatedly affirmed that they consider Vietnam an important partner in Southeast Asia, wishing to promote cooperation in traditional fields and expand to potential fields.

Bilateral trade turnover between Vietnam and Belarus reaches about 100 million USD per year. Bilateral cooperation has achieved many positive results in the fields of science - technology, education - training, culture, sports, tourism, transportation, locality and there is still much room for development. There are about 500-600 Vietnamese people in Belarus.
