The 1st Congress of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, term 2025-2030, marked a historic turning point after three localities – the old Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong and Ba Ria - Vung Tau – were merged, forming a new, dynamic and regional-scale Ho Chi Minh City. The event not only has the meaning of shaping the city's development strategy in the new period, but is also an opportunity to demonstrate the spirit of innovation, creativity and breakthrough aspirations of the country's leading urban area.
With the participation of General Secretary To Lam, President Luong Cuong, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh , 550 delegates from the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee and more than 400 guests, the Congress took place in a solemn and meaningful atmosphere.
The event also gathered nearly 30 exhibition booths, introducing more than 650 products and solutions belonging to 11 strategic technology groups from departments, branches, sectors and accompanying enterprises. Notably, the achievements in science , technology, innovation and digital transformation were introduced, contributing to portraying the image of a dynamic, creative and internationally integrated Ho Chi Minh City.
At the technology exhibition space serving the Congress, FPT Corporation cooperated with the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Transformation Center to participate in displaying typical technology products and solutions. FPT offers two typical solutions, contributing to helping departments, branches and sectors improve their capacity to monitor and manage urban areas and perform tasks quickly and effectively, while bringing many practical benefits to people.
A typical example is the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Citizen Application - a digital platform serving the people with 12 outstanding feature groups such as: 1022 Information Portal, SOS Security and Order, medical lookup, student records, Metro exemptions... Currently, the application has reached more than 561,000 downloads, becoming a bridge between the government and the people in the digital space. In particular, the AI Chatbot on the application acts as an intelligent virtual assistant, capable of natural language communication, quick response and continuous learning to serve the people better and better. The application helps people access public services conveniently, save time, connect the community, towards a smart and modern digital urban experience.
In addition, at An Phu intersection, FPT has integrated AI technology to analyze monitoring data from 6 fixed cameras operating 24/7 combined with aerial surveillance flycams, creating a digital model copy to serve the management of construction, projects and traffic infrastructure. With this AI system, departments and management units can monitor construction at An Phu intersection objectively and continuously, supporting quick decision making, contributing to building Ho Chi Minh City into a smart, flexible-operating city.
Not only participating in key events, FPT is also accompanying Ho Chi Minh City in a series of large-scale digital transformation projects. Ho Chi Minh City Metro Project - digitalizing traffic management, FPT cooperates with MAUR and HURC1 to digitally transform the urban railway system, FPT supports District 7 to build a Smart Operation Center, FPT cooperates with Thu Duc City to deploy technology solutions for urban management and monitoring, projects to deploy smart hospitals, electronic medical records and a series of large hospitals... and many projects contribute to realizing the goal of a smart, modern city.
