Ho Chi Minh City currently has two specialized high schools: Tran Dai Nghia and Le Hong Phong. The number of candidates who registered their preferences were 1,624 and 3,926, respectively.
The 10 schools recruiting for integrated classes include: Bui Thi Xuan High School, Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School, Luong The Vinh High School, Nguyen Thi Minh Khai High School, Saigon Practice High School, Mac Dinh Chi High School, Gia Dinh High School, Phu Nhuan High School, Nguyen Thuong Hien High School, and Nguyen Huu Huan High School.
The total number of candidates who registered their preferences for the integrated program (according to Project 5695) is 1169.

The admission scores for specialized programs are calculated as follows:
Admission score = Literature exam score + Foreign language exam score + Mathematics exam score + Specialized subject exam score x 2.
The admission score for the integrated program is calculated as follows:
- For students participating in the integrated English program at the lower secondary level in Ho Chi Minh City:
Admission score = Literature exam score + Foreign language exam score + Mathematics exam score + Average score of the integrated English program.
- For students who do not participate in the integrated English program at the lower secondary level in Ho Chi Minh City:
Admission score = Literature exam score + Foreign language exam score + Mathematics exam score + Integrated English exam score.
