The Thanh Hoa Provincial Journalism Award on the Workers' Movement and Trade Union Activities, jointly organized by the Provincial Federation of Labor and the Thanh Hoa Provincial Journalists Association, is a practical activity in the series of events celebrating the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union and the 20th Congress of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Trade Union.

This is the first time the Award has been organized to encourage and motivate journalists and amateur authors who are trade union officials, members, and workers to produce excellent articles and works on the topic of the workers' movement and trade union activities in Thanh Hoa province.
The journalism award, launched in March, attracted the attention of many journalists, reporters, contributors, and trade union levels, with 105 entries in three categories: print, television, and online journalism, submitted by more than 90 authors.

According to Mr. Pham Van Bau, Director of the Provincial Radio and Television Station and Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Journalists Association, many entries in the competition demonstrated profound content and diverse forms of expression. In particular, many journalistic works featured innovative styles, vividly reflecting the diverse activities of trade unions, the workers' movement, and the lives of laborers.
In particular, issues include protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers, housing for workers, labor recruitment; and protecting workers' rights in the implementation of insurance and occupational safety schemes.
The Thanh Hoa Provincial Journalism Awards for exemplary workers' movements and trade union activities concluded with 33 awards. These included 15 Encouragement Awards; 9 Third Prizes; 6 Second Prizes; and 3 First Prizes.
