Ms. Nguyen Lien Huong, Deputy Director of the Center for Cultural and Scientific Activities of the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam, spoke at the ceremony.
Deputy Director of the Center for Cultural and Scientific Activities of the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam Nguyen Lien Huong emphasized that through the exhibition, the Organizing Committee wishes to introduce to the people of Binh Dinh, especially the young people, a comprehensive and vivid view of the formation and development process of the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam - a sacred symbol of the tradition of studiousness and respect for teachers of the Vietnamese people. Thereby, the event contributes to nurturing the spirit of studiousness, preserving cultural identity and arousing the aspiration to rise up for a developed, happy and sustainable Vietnam.
According to Ms. Nguyen Lien Huong, the documents displayed at the exhibition were carefully selected from hundreds of valuable sources, summarizing theeducation and examination system during the monarchy, honoring the talented people who contributed to building the country's academic foundation, and at the same time reflecting contemporary activities in preserving and promoting the value of relics.

The exhibition also dedicates a space to introduce the tradition of imperial examinations in Binh Dinh - a land famous as "the land of martial arts, the sky of literature". Through artifacts, documents and portraits of famous people, the public will have the opportunity to learn about the scholars from the locality and their outstanding contributions to the history of education and government.
The exhibition "Temple of Literature - Imperial Academy and Vietnamese Education - Examination System" lasts until July 31.
