On the afternoon of November 27, the Criminal Police Department of Quang Nam Province Police said that the unit had just executed an emergency search warrant and temporarily detained Bui Nguyen Thai Ngoc (31 years old) and Nguyen Hong Vuong (28 years old, both in Minh Long District, Quang Ngai) to investigate the act of human trafficking under 16 years old.
Previously, on the evening of November 25, the Criminal Police Department of Quang Nam Province Police coordinated with Nghia Hanh District Police ( Quang Ngai ) to rescue VTH (14 years old, in Tien Phuoc District, Quang Nam) when Vuong asked H. to serve customers at a karaoke business in Hanh Minh Commune (Nghia Hanh District).

Through the investigation, the suspects confessed that H. previously worked at karaoke businesses in Huong An Town (Que Son District, Quang Nam) managed by Bui Nguyen Thai Ngoc. Through discussion and agreement, Vuong and Ngoc agreed to buy and sell H. for 38 million VND.
According to the Criminal Police Department of Quang Nam Province Police, during the course of work, H. was frequently beaten, threatened, and forced to serve customers at the karaoke business.
Quang Nam Provincial Police searched the residence of Bui Nguyen Thai Ngoc.
The Criminal Police Department of Quang Nam Province Police also determined that in April, Bui Nguyen Thai Ngoc also transferred a female employee from Quang Ngai province to Vuong for 20 million VND.
Searching the suspects' residence, the authorities temporarily seized 5 mobile phones, 1 laptop, 1 camera recorder, 3 ID cards, 1 bank card and a number of related objects and documents.
The case of human trafficking under 16 years old is being further investigated and clarified by the Criminal Police Department of Quang Nam Province Police.
