Mercedes driver's license revoked for stopping in the wrong direction in Ha Tinh

On December 17th, the police in Loc Ha district ( Ha Tinh province ) issued an administrative penalty notice to P.D.D. (born in 1986, residing in Nghi Xuan district) for the offenses of stopping his vehicle causing traffic congestion and driving on the wrong side of the road.

P.Đ.Đ has been identified as the driver of the Mercedes-Benz vehicle with license plate 38A-271.xx that stopped against the flow of traffic in the middle of the road, obstructing traffic on provincial road 547 (the coastal road of Ha Tinh province) in Thinh Loc commune (Loc Ha district).

For the two violations, the fines for driver P.Đ.Đ. are 2-3 million VND and 4-6 million VND respectively, along with an additional penalty of suspending his driver's license for 1-3 months.

Earlier, at approximately 4:25 PM on December 12th, Mr. D.QN was driving a container truck with a Hai Phong license plate on the coastal road in Ha Tinh.

Upon reaching the section passing through Thinh Loc commune (Loc Ha district), the tractor-trailer was confronted head-on by a red Mercedes-Benz C-Class passenger car, license plate 38A-271.xx, traveling in the opposite direction. The car approached and stopped abruptly.

The Mercedes-Benz driver then got out of the car while it was still stopped in the wrong lane, despite obstructing the flow of traffic for the container truck and other vehicles.

After "talking" to the truck driver, the male driver of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class drove away, leaving his vehicle stopped in the wrong lane in the middle of the road. The truck driver was forced to steer his vehicle into the opposite lane in order to continue moving.
