Thai Nguyen youth learn and follow Uncle Ho

In recent years, the implementation of Directive No. 05-CT/TW dated May 15, 2016 of the Politburo on promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle has been proactively and creatively carried out by all levels of the provincial Youth Union in propaganda and education, organizing many movements, projects and specific tasks. Since then, it has become a regular activity, spreading strongly in the lives of Youth Union members and children throughout the province.

Promoting the spirit of youth volunteering for the community, every year the youth union at all levels in the province organizes activities to return to the source and take care of the health of policy families and people with meritorious services.

Clearly identifying studying and following Uncle Ho as the core content in the work of the Youth Union and the youth and children's movement, in recent times, the Youth Union and Association chapters at all levels in the province have promoted many propaganda solutions with many creative forms and methods suitable for each target and each time, constantly innovating in methods... Online conferences, thematic activities, seminars, and forums have attracted tens of thousands of Youth Union members and young people to participate, contributing to raising awareness, fostering ideals and cultivating revolutionary ethics for the younger generation.

In addition, the organization of learning does not stop at theoretical activities but is also associated with creative models such as "Youth branch following Uncle Ho's words", "Diary following Uncle Ho", "Every day a good news, every week a beautiful story". Thereby, studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style has created a vibrant competitive atmosphere, contributing to improving the quality of all aspects of the Youth Union's work, enhancing the sense of responsibility and exemplary role of cadres and young union members.

Through movements and campaigns, many typical progressive youths were commended in implementing Directive No. 05 on Studying and following Uncle Ho.

Imbued with Uncle Ho's teaching "wherever there is a need, there are youth, wherever there is difficulty, there are youth", with the spirit of shock, volunteerism, and not afraid of difficulties, the Youth Union chapters from the provincial to the grassroots level have organized many practical activities for community life, contributing to the socio -economic development of the locality. Since 2016, the Youth Union organizations have organized for Youth Union members and students to voluntarily donate over 2,680 units of blood; organized medical examinations, health consultations, and provided free medicine for over 12,000 policy families, meritorious people, the elderly and children in difficult circumstances...; organized over 160 exhibitions and propaganda sessions on Vietnam's sea and island maps among the Youth Union members.

In addition, Thai Nguyen youth have actively participated in the New Rural Development Program, with 5,759 youth projects and tasks at all levels implemented by youth union organizations with a value of nearly 18 billion VND. On the economic front, the province has maintained and consolidated 410 youth economic development models with the participation of over 3,500 young people, contributing to job creation and income improvement for many people in rural areas.

For example, Mr. Pham Tien Dat is not only an energetic Secretary of the Youth Union of Residential Group 2, Song Cau Town (Dong Hy), but he is also the Deputy Director of Thinh An Tea Cooperative with 10 members, managing a 70ha tea material area and the Director of Van Lang Agricultural and Forestry Service Cooperative with 21 members, managing a 20ha material area according to VietGAP standards. In any role, Mr. Dat promotes his youth, dares to think and dare to do, contributes to building movements and developing cooperatives with 6 tea products achieving 3 and 4 OCOP stars, creating jobs for many local workers. Recently, Mr. Dat was one of 6 representatives of the province attending the 8th National Congress of Advanced Youth Following Uncle Ho's Teachings in 2025 held in the city named after Uncle Ho.

Mr. Dat shared: Imbued with Uncle Ho's teachings, along with implementing the Campaign "Building model values ​​for Vietnamese youth in the new era", I always nurture the ambition and aspiration to rise up, live beautifully, live usefully, and be responsible for myself, my family and society. Therefore, I have developed a cooperative model to maximize the exploitation of the local staple crops and my family's tea making profession.

Not only Mr. Dat, in the past 10 years, the provincial Youth Union has commended more than 6,200 outstanding collectives and individuals; hundreds of outstanding young people have been introduced, trained and admitted to the Party, becoming core members of grassroots political and social organizations. From simple deeds and practical actions, the examples of advanced young people have strongly inspired the younger generation, arousing the spirit of dedication, living beautifully and living usefully. These are also the "flames" that contribute to lighting up the movement of studying and following Uncle Ho in each locality and unit in the province.

According to Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union Pham Thi Thu Hien: Promoting learning and following Uncle Ho is not only a political task but also a guideline for action, a spiritual motivation for each young person to firmly step on the path of establishing a career, building a homeland. In the context of integration, digital transformation, and rapid development of social networks, a part of young people have not clearly defined their ideals in life, are easily influenced by negative information, and cultural trends. This requires the Youth Union at all levels in the province in the coming time to continue to innovate the content and methods of propaganda and education, and promote the strengths of digital technology to bring learning and following Uncle Ho closer to young people.
