The role of community media in Phat area

The Community Communication Team of Khu Phat, Lai Dong Commune, Tan Son District, was established in December 2022 with 7 key members of the village. Since its establishment and launch, the team members have participated in training courses and competitions to equip themselves with knowledge and skills. This has helped them confidently approach and disseminate information to the people about the effective implementation of the Party's guidelines and policies, and the laws of the State.

The Phat area's media team held a meeting to discuss and implement the propaganda content.

Ms. Ha Thi Thuy, Head of the Women's Association and Deputy Head of the Community Communication Team in Phat area, shared: "In addition to communication activities and support for women and girls according to the objectives of Project 8 of the National Target Program for socio -economic development for ethnic minority and mountainous areas in the period 2021-2030, the Team has proactively addressed newly arising issues in the area such as domestic violence, gender equality, and issues related to culture, beliefs, and religion."

Thanks to widespread dissemination of information to all levels of the population, gender equality and the prevention of domestic violence in the area have seen positive changes, altering people's thinking on gender and gender equality issues, fostering closer relationships with those around them, and creating a harmonious, stable living environment for mutual development.
