The International Exhibition on Science and Technology (SIIF 2025) will take place from December 3rd to December 7th, 2025 in Seoul, South Korea. It is organized by the Korea Invention Promotion Association (KIPA) in collaboration with the Korea Intellectual Property Office (KIPO), the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the International Federation of Inventors Associations (IFIA), and various ministries, departments, and professional associations of South Korea.

At the invitation of KIPA, the Vietnam Foundation for Technical Innovation (VIFOTEC) formed a delegation to attend the event, led by Mr. Phan Xuan Dung, President of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations and President of VIFOTEC.
SIIF is considered the world's largest invention and innovation exhibition, where international inventors showcase their new ideas, seek investment opportunities, and receive advice on commercialization and international patenting from a team of lawyers and intellectual property experts.
This year, SIIF 2025 attracted nearly 500 innovative projects in the fields of mechanical engineering and automation, educational technology, materials technology, agriculture, forestry and fisheries, etc., from South Korea and more than 20 countries and territories.
The Vietnamese delegation presented 6 outstanding projects, and 10 projects from 6 research institutions and businesses were submitted for consideration. These projects attracted the attention of the judging panel and were highly appreciated for their applicability and commercialization potential.

As a result, the Vietnamese delegation achieved outstanding results, including: 1 Grand Prize Gold Cup, awarded to Viet Ceramic Joint Stock Company of Labor Hero Nguyen Quang Mau and his associates for their energy-saving Cotto (glazed) - Granite tiles.
In addition, there were: 1 special prize for the best project; 1 special prize for the best inventor; 3 gold medals; 2 silver medals; 3 bronze medals, along with numerous certificates of merit from international organizations such as the Iranian Institute for Research and Invention, the Malaysian Association of Scientific Researchers (MARS), King Abdulaziz University (Saudi Arabia), and the INNOPA Association (Indonesia).
The awards at SIIF 2025 further affirm the creative capacity of Vietnamese scientists, while also opening up opportunities to promote the commercialization of research products and connect with international partners in the field of science and technology.
