Mr. Le Van Thoan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Nui Coc Lake Trade Union Hotel and Tourism Joint Stock Company, said: One of the highlights of Nui Coc Lake Tourist Area is the sacred Thac Vang Pagoda located in the heart of Buddha. The entire main hall, the three-door gate, the three-protector temple, and the ancestral shrine are located under the lotus statue of Buddha Shakyamuni standing tall in the middle of the green mountains and forests, facing the vast lake. This is one of the largest Buddha statues, recognized as a Vietnamese record in 2012, with a height of 45m and a diameter of 37m across the lotus platform.
No matter what people do, whether they are suffering or happy, only when standing before the Buddha can they truly dare to face themselves, become calm, peaceful and serene.
