The cooperation between two leading and internationally prestigious brands in the field of nutritional care and vaccination is expected to bring medical solutions that contribute to the health care of children and adults, especially supporting children to develop optimally physically and mentally, thereby contributing to improving the quality of life and improving the "health" of the community.
This cooperation is a concrete action, aiming to realize the core goals of the National Nutrition Strategy and the Government's Strategy for Protection - Care - Improvement of Public Health for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2045. In particular, it emphasizes the development of Vietnamese people's stature, physical strength and intelligence, enhancing proactive disease prevention and reducing inequality in access to health care .
In particular, the cooperation is more meaningful when it promptly brings Vietnamese consumers more choices of genuine, high-quality medical nutritional milk in the context of the Vietnamese market being disrupted by consecutive cases of fake milk and poor-quality food discovered by authorities.

According to the cooperation agreement, the two sides will simultaneously implement a series of activities to raise community awareness about nutrition for young children at VNVC vaccination centers nationwide with the participation of doctors and leading experts in vaccination and nutrition in Vietnam and internationally.
In addition, people can easily access genuine high-quality nutritional products from Nestlé through the VNVC SHOP convenience store that has just been put into operation at vaccination centers nationwide as well as online sales channels.
In the context of the market having many concerns about counterfeit and poor quality products, Nestlé Health Science's formula milk and nutritional supplements are 100% imported from Switzerland, ensuring origin and superior quality. These are specialized product lines, suitable for all ages and physical conditions, from children to the elderly, people with underlying diseases, meeting the increasingly strict nutritional needs of the community.
Mr. Zubin Trikha, Head of Specialty Nutrition, Nestlé Health Science Vietnam, said that the unit will deploy a nutrition and health consulting tool to help families make appropriate dietary choices. This tool focuses specifically on children, promoting healthy growth and development in the early years of life.
“Through this cooperation, we expect to work with VNVC to create truly positive changes in people’s nutritional awareness and behavior, especially young children. We believe that combining scientific nutrition and proactive disease prevention is the key to comprehensive development for future generations,” said Mr. Zubin Trikha.
Doctor Bach Thi Chinh, Medical Director of VNVC Vaccination System, said that not only providing safe, high-quality vaccination services to millions of Vietnamese families each year, VNVC Vaccination System also constantly strives to find comprehensive solutions to improve the quality of life, provide safe, international-standard, and accessible health care for people.
Previously, VNVC also signed strategic cooperation agreements with many large nutrition companies and corporations in Vietnam and the world . These cooperations create many practical values for people, providing a variety of high-quality nutritional products, porridge and weaning foods through the VNVC SHOP convenience store, to improve health and immunity, especially for patients and those in need of special care, supporting the treatment process.
“Scientific nutrition and proactive vaccination are two essential pillars in building a solid and comprehensive health foundation for each individual and the whole society. Early, proper and effective care, especially in the early stages of life, is of decisive significance, not only helping children develop optimally physically and mentally, but also laying the foundation for the formation of a generation of healthy, intelligent citizens, future owners who contribute to building a prosperous nation capable of deep integration with the world,” affirmed Dr. Bach Thi Chinh.
Proper nutrition for children in the early years of life plays a fundamental role in the development of the child's brain, physical strength and adult height. Although Vietnam has achieved many significant achievements in improving nutrition, in reality, it still faces many challenges.
According to recent surveys (2019-2020), the average height of young Vietnamese men is 168.1 cm and that of women is 156.2 cm, still modest compared to the global average. Worryingly, 1 in 5 Vietnamese children are stunted. Premature birth is also the leading cause of death in children under 5 years old, and many premature babies who are saved face lifelong disabilities due to lack of adequate medical care. These health and nutritional challenges not only negatively impact the physical development of future generations compared to other countries, but also cause many long-term consequences such as immunodeficiency, increased risk of infectious and chronic diseases in adulthood.
