On August 15, Mr. Do Huu Quynh, Deputy Director of Khanh Hoa Department of Education and Training, said that he had asked relevant units to clarify the responsibility of the examiners for the two literature exams whose scores after re-examination increased by 0.5 and 0.75 points.
Mr. Quynh said that for essay subjects such as literature, a difference of 0.25 points after re-examination is acceptable, because it depends on the examiner's assessment of the candidate's ability to perceive and express. However, if the score increases by more than 0.5 points, the examiner's professional responsibility needs to be considered.

“The unit will clarify the responsibilities of the examiners. The examiners may be demoted, warned or reprimanded depending on the review results,” said Mr. Quynh.

As a result, 196 exams kept the same score, 150 exams had their scores increased (accounting for more than 43%), of which 148 exams increased by 0.25 points, 1 exam increased by 0.5 points and 1 exam increased by 0.75 points.
According to statistics from the Khanh Hoa Department of Education and Training, in 2025, the whole province will have more than 14,500 candidates registering for the high school graduation exam. The graduation rate is 97.71%, the average score of the exams is 5.9.
