The case of asking "where is the gun" on the plane: One of the two people is a police lieutenant colonel

According to Dan Tri reporter's private source, one of the two passengers on flight VN186 preparing to take off from Da Nang to Hanoi who talked about having a gun on the plane was a Lieutenant Colonel of Thai Binh Province Police. This person is currently studying.

Previously, on the evening of November 7, at Da Nang airport, when flight VN186 was about to take off from Da Nang to Hanoi , two passengers on the plane talked to each other about having a gun on the plane. One asked "where is the gun", the other replied that it was in the luggage.

When the flight attendant asked again, the two said they were just joking. However, the captain of the flight requested to stop take-off and called for security support.

Da Nang airport security forces re-checked all luggage and passengers on the flight but found no weapons.

The Central Airport Authority said the two passengers were detained for processing according to regulations. The flight continued to take off at night after determining there were no security issues.
