Previously, Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper reported that many areas in Hoa Minh ward were facing a serious situation of household waste overflowing onto the streets and giving off a foul smell.

Recorded at group 127 and roads such as Tu Quy, Hoang Van Thai, Nguyen Binh..., garbage piled up on the sidewalk, even encroaching on the roadway.

The garbage collector said the transfer truck was broken and Khanh Son landfill was congested so the garbage could not be removed in time.

Meanwhile, Mr. Vo Diep Ngoc Quang - Deputy Director of Khanh Son Landfill Management Enterprise - confirmed that the landfill has been operating normally and only Lien Chieu district has encountered problems managed by Urenco 15.

On the contrary, Mr. Ngo Le Quang – Director of Urenco 15 – said that the main cause was the landfill being clogged, causing the time to dump the garbage to be many times longer. He denied that the transfer truck was broken, asserting that it was only a minor problem and that it was quickly resolved.
