An Thanh Commune hands over 'Farmer's Shelter' house

On the afternoon of December 1, the Farmers' Association of An Thanh commune (Hai Phong) held the inauguration ceremony and handed over the 'Farmer's Shelter' house to Ms. Nguyen Thi Dang in Bang Lai village.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Dang is a farmer member and a poor household. She currently lives alone, is old, and often sick. Her old house is seriously degraded and at risk of collapsing. Therefore, the Commune Farmers' Association has mobilized the Kim Thanh Branch of the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development to support the cost of building a house for Ms. Nguyen Thi Dang.

After more than 2 months of construction, the house was completed, with a construction area of ​​35 m2 , including 3 rooms with closed auxiliary works. The total construction cost was nearly 153 million VND. Kim Thanh Branch of the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development supported 70 million VND, the family supported nearly 63 million VND.

At the inauguration and handover ceremony of the "Farmer's Shelter" house, local authorities and mass organizations also presented Ms. Nguyen Thi Dang with some essential items.
