Strictly handle the case of uncivilized behavior at Nghinh Phong tower

(NLDO) - Tuy Hoa City leaders requested strict handling of the case of a member of the security and order team at Nghinh Phong Square who behaved in an uncultured manner.

This morning (February 8), Mr. Cao Dinh Huy, Chairman of Tuy Hoa City People's Committee, Phu Yen Province, said that he had directed the handling of the case of a member of the security team at Nghinh Phong Square, Tuy Hoa City, who had behaved uncivilizedly with tourists.

The image of Mr. Tran Van Nghiep with harsh words made tourists angry.

"I have immediately directed this member to temporarily suspend his work and there will be a suitable long-term solution," said Mr. Huy.

Earlier on the afternoon of February 7, a clip was posted on social media recording the image of a man dressed in a local security force uniform, loudly cursing and swearing at the driver of an electric car driving slowly on Doc Lap Street next to Thap Nghinh Phong Square.

At this time, Mr. Tran Van Nghiep (57 years old) and Mr. Pham Van Sau (52 years old, from the Security Team of Ninh Tinh 6 residential area) came to remind the driver to park in the correct position. However, the driver said that he was "to finish his cigarette". Feeling angry, Mr. Nghiep said harsh words.

The authorities then decided to temporarily suspend Mr. Nghiep from work to review and learn from the experience of the local security force regarding working style and culture when performing duties.

The Nghinh Phong Tower project was completed at the end of November 2021 in Tuy Hoa City, Phu Yen Province and has become a new symbol of the locality, attracting tourists. This is also the only project in Southeast Asia to win the Asian Urban Landscape Award in 2023.
