110 students participate in "Border Lesson"

- On December 8, Bao Lam Border Guard Station coordinated with Bao Lam Primary and Secondary School, Dong Dang Commune to organize the extracurricular program "Border Lesson" for 110 students of grades 5 and 9 of the school. This is a practical activity, responding to the 81st anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2025), 36th anniversary of National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2025).

At the program, the students were informed by officers and soldiers of Bao Lam Border Guard Station about Vietnam Border Law; national border sovereignty ; introduced to visit border markers, border lines, Uncle Ho's monument with border guards, unit landscape, experience arranging internal affairs, and taking care of vegetable gardens.

At the same time, students also watched a report on the construction of border marker inspection roads and border protection in Lang Son province; border patrol activities of Lang Son province's border guards and interacted and answered questions at the program.

Students performed a musical performance about love of homeland and country.

The program is an opportunity for students to learn about the reality of the border area, the life and duties of border guards, and consolidate their knowledge of the history and geography of their homeland. At the same time, it contributes to raising their awareness and responsibility for their love of their homeland and country, and for building and firmly protecting the sacred sovereignty of the Fatherland.
