369 educational institutions started simultaneously

For the 2024-2025 academic year, with the theme "Innovation, Quality Improvement, Unity and Discipline," the education and training sector in Ha Nam province will continue to maintain a stable educational scale with 369 educational institutions at all levels and disciplines; including 119 kindergartens, 116 primary schools, 111 junior high schools, and 23 senior high schools.

The number of educational administrators and teachers at all levels is gradually being ensured, their professional expertise is standardized, and they possess high levels of qualifications, meeting and exceeding the required standards, thus increasingly fulfilling the demands of educational and training reform.

Secretary of the Ha Nam Provincial Party Committee Le Thi Thuy presented scholarships to disadvantaged students in Duy Hai ward, Duy Tien town.

The education sector in Ha Nam province has set out 11 key tasks to improve the quality of education at all levels. These include actively advising on further improving the institutional framework and enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of state management in education and training; and reviewing and adjusting the implementation of the school network plan.

Continue to reorganize the teaching staff, ensuring compliance with regulations on staffing levels and the policy of streamlining personnel to ensure a lean organizational structure and improve the quality of the workforce; implement the plan for training and developing teachers and educational management staff.

In addition, it is necessary to prepare school facilities and equipment in a manner consistent with the roadmap for reforming the general education curriculum; promote digital transformation throughout the entire sector; and effectively implement emulation movements.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of Duy Hai Ward Secondary School in Duy Tien town, Ms. Le Thi Thuy, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Secretary of the Ha Nam Provincial Party Committee, urged the entire education and training sector of Ha Nam province, as well as Party committees and authorities at all levels, to focus on successfully completing several key tasks.

The comrade proposed continuing to implement the Politburo's Conclusion on continuing to implement Resolution 29 (dated November 4, 2013) of the 11th Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam on fundamental and comprehensive reform of education and training to meet the requirements of industrialization and modernization in the context of a socialist-oriented market economy and international integration; the 12 key tasks for the 2024-2025 school year set forth by the Ministry of Education and Training ; and the province's documents on education and training.

The Secretary of the Ha Nam Provincial Party Committee also requested that the team of administrators, teachers, and staff in the education sector in general, and the administrators, teachers, and staff of Duy Hai Secondary School in particular, continue to innovate the content and methods of teaching and management according to knowledge and skills standards, suitable for students; improve the quality of comprehensive education and specialized education; focus on character education, lifestyle, legal knowledge, and ethics; cultivate compassion, respect for teachers, love for friends, and comprehensive development of both "intellect" and "morality" for students, so that they can develop holistically.

The Provincial Party Secretary expressed his wish that parents would continue to pay more attention to their children's studies and training, maintain close contact with the school, and effectively implement the "Discipline - Compassion - Responsibility" movement.

The Provincial Party Secretary also expressed his affection and expectations for the students, hoping that they would strive to study, train, and become good children, excellent students, and exemplary grandchildren of Uncle Ho, becoming good citizens who are useful to society and contributing to building a prosperous and civilized homeland.
