Four deputy directors of departments appointed to the Board of Directors of Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine.

Yesterday (March 5th), the Party Committee of the University and College Bloc of Ho Chi Minh City issued a decision appointing Associate Professor, Doctor Nguyen Trong Hao to the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and as Secretary of the Party Committee of Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine for the 2020-2025 term.

Previously, on January 9th, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Internal Affairs announced the decision recognizing the Chairman of the University Council of Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine for the 2020-2025 term. According to the decision, Mr. Nguyen Trong Hao was recognized as the Chairman of the University Council of Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine for the 2020-2025 term, replacing Mr. Ngo Minh Xuan, who had reached the retirement age for leadership and management positions as stipulated by regulations.

Dr. Nguyen Trong Hao, born in 1978, holds a PhD in medicine. He held various positions at the Ho Chi Minh City Dermatology Hospital before being appointed Director in 2016. In addition to his hospital management duties, Dr. Hao is actively involved in professional work, teaching at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, conducting scientific research , and organizing regional training courses, workshops, and conferences. In 2023, he was recognized by the State Council of Professors as meeting the standards for the title of Associate Professor.

Following the decision by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Internal Affairs to recognize Mr. Hao as Chairman of the University Council of Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine for the 2020-2025 term, he was transferred from the Ho Chi Minh City Dermatology Hospital to work at Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine.

According to a decision made in early January by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Internal Affairs, Mr. Nguyen Kim Vu, Chairman of the Trade Union and Deputy Head of the Clinical Practice Management Department of Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine, will serve as a member of the University Council, replacing Mr. Pham Hieu Liem, former Head of the Training Department, who has taken on another assignment.

The School Council of Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine for the 2020-2025 term currently has 21 members. Among them, Associate Professor, Doctor Nguyen Thanh Hiep, the Rector of the university, serves as the Vice Chairman of the School Council. Notably, among the members of the School Council are four deputy directors of departments in Ho Chi Minh City: the Department of Health , the Department of Education and Training, the Department of Culture and Sports, and the Department of Home Affairs.

In addition, the Board of Directors of Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine also includes three other hospital directors as members: the Director of People's Hospital 115, the Director of the Central Dental and Maxillofacial Hospital of Ho Chi Minh City, and the Director of Binh Dan Hospital.
