Forecast: Today and tonight (January 3), this cold air mass will affect the Northern region.

Central region. Northeast wind inland gradually increases to level 3; coastal areas level 3-4.

On land: The North Central region is getting colder. During this cold spell, the lowest temperature in Thanh Hoa and Nghe An is generally between 15-18 degrees Celsius, and in some mountainous areas it is below 14 degrees Celsius.

At sea: Today and tonight (January 3), in the Gulf of Tonkin, the Northeast wind will gradually increase to level 6, gusting to level 8, waves 1.5-2.5m high, rough seas; in the North East Sea (including the waters of Hoang Sa archipelago), there will be strong Northeast wind at level 6, later at times level 7, gusting to level 8-9, waves 3.0-5.0m high, rough seas.
