Doctors and staff of Huong Son District Medical Center donate blood to save lives

Staff of Huong Son Medical Center (Ha Tinh) donated 2 units of blood to help save the victim from critical condition.

Doctor Tran Thi Thuy donated blood to help patients overcome critical conditions.

At around 6:00 p.m. on May 12, patient Nguyen Duy Khanh (56 years old, residing in village 1, Son Ham commune, Huong Son district) was admitted to the hospital in critical condition, due to gastrointestinal bleeding, severe anemia and cirrhosis. The doctor ordered an urgent transfusion of 2 units of blood type B RH+.

At that time, Dr. Tran Thi Thuy (Department of Internal Medicine) and technician Phan Thi Nga (Department of Paraclinical Medicine) urgently completed the examination procedures and donated blood to save people.

After receiving 2 units of blood group B RH+, patient Nguyen Duy Khanh has overcome the critical stage and is currently being monitored and treated by the medical team.
