An Giang Provincial Social Insurance gives health insurance cards and social insurance books to people in difficult circumstances.

On the morning of December 3, in Rach Gia ward, An Giang Provincial Social Insurance organized a program to give social insurance books and health insurance cards to people in difficult circumstances.

Responding to the movement "For the poor - No one left behind", after launching from November 7 to 20, An Giang Social Insurance mobilized over 1.6 billion VND in funding; of which, organizations, businesses, and philanthropists contributed over 277 million VND; officials and employees of the Provincial Social Insurance contributed over 282 million VND and 304 million VND from the charity fund.

In addition, the Provincial Social Insurance received 800 million VND from contributions from several banks such as Agribank , Vietcombank, VietinBank, and BIDV.

Give health insurance cards to people.

At the ceremony, the Provincial Social Insurance and 11 grassroots social insurance points received support from banks and benefactors to donate 3,335 health insurance cards, worth nearly 1.6 billion VND and 24 social insurance books worth more than 23.7 million VND; of which, 1,373 health insurance cards for students, worth over 400 million VND and 1,962 health insurance cards for people in difficult circumstances, worth more than 1.2 billion VND.

Deputy Director of An Giang Social Insurance Huynh Tan Pho acknowledged and thanked the attention of Vietnam Social Insurance, the companionship and support of businesses, organizations and kind-hearted individuals who contributed funds to give social insurance books and health insurance cards to people and students. In order for social security policies to continue to spread, the Provincial Social Insurance hopes to continue to receive contributions from the business community and the whole society.
