Traffic police used a special vehicle to transport a father holding a young child who was having a seizure to the hospital in time for emergency treatment.

On December 9th, a short video clip showing a traffic police officer using a special motorcycle to transport a father carrying his young child, who was having a seizure, to the hospital was posted on social media.

The clip, only a few seconds long, recorded the moment the traffic police officer passed through the hospital gate, took the father and son inside and then came back out, but received much praise from the online community.

According to investigation, the incident happened at 4:20 p.m. on December 8. The traffic police officer in the clip is Major Nguyen Minh Thai, an officer of the Cat Lai Traffic Police Team (HCMC Traffic Police Department).

Accordingly, while on duty to direct traffic at the intersection of Mai Chi Tho - Luong Dinh Cua Street, An Phu Ward, Thu Duc City, a man carrying a small child who was having convulsions panicked and called for help.

Immediately, Major Nguyen Minh Thai reported to the commander and used a special vehicle to take the father and son to Children's Hospital 2 (District 1) for timely emergency care.

Reportedly, the man was on his way to Children's Hospital 2 with his child (approximately 7 months old) who had a fever, when the baby had a seizure. Due to the crowded roads and the extremely serious situation, the man quickly grabbed his child and ran to seek help from the police.

This is not the first time that Ho Chi Minh City Traffic Police officers have assisted people in emergency situations.
