Receiving the direction of the Deputy Prime Minister, 124 communes, wards and special zones in the whole province and the Provincial Party Committee studied and understood the 6 core thoughts, carried out specific tasks before, during and after the congresses at all levels to contribute to consolidating and strengthening the great national unity bloc and the trust of cadres, party members and people in the Party; promoting the potentials, strengths and successfully completing the political tasks of Lam Dong province in the new period.
The Provincial Party Secretary said that Don Duong commune was established on the basis of merging 3 localities including 2 communes of Da Ron, Tu Tra and Thanh My town. Today's congress is an important event in the development process, opening a new chapter full of bright prospects for the Party Committee, government and people of Don Duong commune.
This is the first congress and also the only commune-level congress of the province. The congress takes place in the context of the country entering the early days of a new era, along with the revolution of reorganizing the apparatus, administrative units, building a 2-level local government in the direction of streamlining, close to the people, operating effectively, efficiently and serving the people better.
"Looking back on the past, I appreciate the solidarity, unity, and efforts of the Party committees, authorities, and people of the three localities in the past, and the solidarity and unity of comrades throughout the process of preparing and implementing the merger of administrative units, transferring and deploying tasks according to the new model," the Provincial Party Secretary emphasized.
In the last term, despite many difficulties and challenges, the Party Committee, government and people of Lam Dong province in general and the localities of Da Ron commune, Tu Tra commune and Thanh My town (old) in particular have made efforts and strived to achieve many important achievements in the fields of socio-economics, national defense - security, Party building and the political system. These results are clearly shown in the political report presented to the Congress.
The Provincial Party Secretary acknowledged the outstanding results in implementing breakthroughs, new and creative ways to remove difficulties and obstacles in implementing key tasks such as promoting administrative procedure reform, associated with digital transformation in various fields.
The local socio-economic situation has gradually recovered and developed after the Covid-19 pandemic, achieving many positive and comprehensive results. The economy has maintained a stable growth rate with an average growth rate of 8.8%.
Production and business activities have recovered strongly, with many good and effective methods, especially the formation of value chains for agricultural products. Economic restructuring has been gradually carried out in an environmentally friendly direction, associated with the goal of sustainable development.
Key goals of new rural construction have been promoted and completed. The fields of education, health, culture, sports, and social security have continued to be improved, increasingly meeting the development requirements and people's lives. Administrative reform and digital transformation have had many positive changes.
The task of building the Party and the political system has achieved many positive, timely and innovative results. People's trust in the leadership of the Party and the government has been firmly consolidated, the building of the great national unity bloc has been strengthened, creating a solid foundation for sustainable local development in the following years.
Regarding the documents of the Commune Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term, the Provincial Party Secretary requested that the Commune Party Committee seriously absorb all comments to complete the documents. At the same time, the locality needs to further clarify the characteristics and situation of Don Duong Commune, clearly identify the potential and strengths of each locality to serve as a basis for determining the main goals, targets and key tasks and solutions.
The Party Committee of the commune identified specific key tasks that need to be implemented to successfully implement the goals of the congress resolution, with the spirit of " clear people, clear work, clear responsibilities, clear products, clear results, clear deadlines, clear roadmap " . The resolution can be implemented immediately after it is issued. Along with that, the locality proposes solutions to overcome the limitations, difficulties, and bottlenecks identified in the political report.
