This was affirmed by Ms. Tran Tuyet Minh – Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Phuoc province – during a working session between VRG and the People's Committee of Binh Phuoc province regarding the organization of the 14th Golden Hands Rubber Tapping Competition in Binh Phuoc in 2024.
Tran Tuyet Minh, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, delivered a speech at the working session.
On the afternoon of November 27th, VRG held a working session with the People's Committee of Binh Phuoc province regarding the organization of the 2024 Golden Hands Rubber Tapping Competition in Binh Phuoc province.
Mr. Pham Hai Duong – Deputy General Director of VRG, Head of the Organizing Committee of the competition, expressed his hope that the province would create favorable conditions for the competition to be held successfully.
Attending the meeting were Ms. Tran Tuyet Minh – Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, along with leaders of local departments and agencies. Representing VRG were Mr. Pham Hai Duong – Deputy General Director of VRG, Head of the Organizing Committee of the competition, Mr. Le Van Thang – Deputy Chief of VRG's Office, and representatives from the relevant subcommittees of the 14th Golden Hands Rubber Tapping Competition 2024.
Mr. Le Van Thang, Deputy Chief of VRG's Office, reported on the preparations for the competition at the meeting.
According to the report presented at the meeting, the Organizing Committee of the competition has been actively implementing the planned steps. During this meeting, VRG invited provincial leaders to join the Organizing Committee and deliver speeches at the competition to enhance its prestige and success. VRG also requested that relevant departments, agencies, and localities create favorable conditions for the Organizing Committee to decorate and promote the competition along the main roads. They were also asked to provide support regarding security, traffic safety, food hygiene, and accommodation for contestants and guests, especially foreign contestants from Laos and Cambodia participating in the competition.

Speaking at the meeting, Ms. Tran Tuyet Minh said: “Binh Phuoc is considered the capital of rubber cultivation, therefore the province is very honored to be chosen by VRG as the venue for the competition. The province will enthusiastically support the contents proposed by VRG because this is one of the major traditional programs that the Group maintains and organizes periodically, providing an opportunity to improve the skills of workers and also to promote the image of the land and people of Binh Phuoc province. We request that departments, agencies, and localities participate in responsible and effective coordination with the Group to ensure the competition is held successfully.”
The 14th Golden Hands Rubber Tapping Competition is scheduled to be held over four days, from December 14th to 17th, at Tan Lap Plantation, Dong Phu Rubber Joint Stock Company, and the Eastern Region College. To date, 60 teams have registered to participate, including 54 units under VRG and 6 external units. A total of 240 contestants are expected, including 72 foreign participants.
