"When I was little, whenever I lay in the hammock listening to my father sing lullabies, I would often sing along. Later, my father bought me a radio, and every time I listened to a music program, I would take out my notebook and write down my favorite songs and sing them until I knew them by heart," Ms. Lam recalled.

Ms. Lam recounted that when she was just 7 years old, despite her family being farmers and working very hard, her parents, seeing that their youngest daughter loved singing, took her to the Thanh Hoa Provincial Children's Cultural Center to learn singing skills.

"Whether it was scorching hot or freezing cold, my father would still take me to singing lessons every day on his old bicycle, nurturing my passion for music," Ms. Lam said.

Under the guidance of teachers at the Children's Cultural Center, in 2005, Do Thi Lam won first prize at the Red Phoenix Flower Singing Festival of Thanh Hoa province. Following this award, she was directly admitted to the College of Culture and Arts (now Thanh Hoa University of Culture, Sports and Tourism).

But I chose to become a teacher because I wanted to inspire my students and instill in them a love of music," Ms. Lam recounted.

"Tomorrow must be better than yesterday!"

"Music is a difficult art form, requiring hard work and dedication from those who pursue it. I've never compared myself to anyone, but I always set a goal: tomorrow must be better than yesterday," Ms. Lam expressed.
