My life has opened a new bright page

When I got into university, I thought I would try to survive but I really didn’t have enough confidence to enter the lecture hall. Because just finding money for the first semester’s tuition was already very difficult. The Tiep Suc Den Truong scholarship came when I was at my most lost and in the most difficult situation.

My life has opened a new, bright page that I never thought of after the article in Tuoi Tre newspaper. I am known by many people, met many kind people who support me. In addition to the scholarship, I was also given a motorbike, had easier access to jobs in Hue, and had uncles and aunts support me with monthly living expenses and tuition fees. Recently, I had an accident and had to be hospitalized, I also received a lot of help from teachers, doctors and nurses.

Not only me, in Quang Ngai there is also Duong Thi Kim Duyen (Quy Nhon University) who has the same difficulties as me. Both Kim Duyen and I have turned a new page in our lives after the newspaper wrote an article and awarded us a scholarship.

Kim Duyen and I received help from a philanthropist. This would not have been possible without the School Support program.

I am grateful, very grateful. I will never forget the Tiep Suc Den Truong scholarship and Tuoi Tre newspaper all my life.

As one of thousands of poor new students receiving support this year, I am very grateful and appreciate the Tuoi Tre Newspaper's Support to School program. For an orphaned new student like me, with no one to rely on, this scholarship is a gift that guides me to continue my studies before the university threshold.

Not only was the scholarship timely, but through the newspaper article, I also received great attention and support from benefactors and the school for the next four years of study. I was exempted from tuition fees and also received additional financial support so that I would not have to worry about the upcoming journey. I felt much more confident than when I first entered school, no longer doubting and worrying about money for food and tuition.

For me, the School Support Program has opened a big door and a lot of light, helping me boldly step into my future. In return for that great love, I will try my best to study well so as not to let down everyone who has cared, encouraged and helped me. I also determined to improve my foreign language skills and set a goal of graduating with honors.

The plan after graduation is to find a stable job to sustain my life so that I can take care of myself and my family. It is also to strive to one day be able to accompany the School Support Program, bringing meaningful gifts to support those with strong will to rise up in life like I received today.

Tran Ngoc Thanh Giang, a new student at the University of Economics, Danang University, and her father, Tran Nhat Truong, came to receive the scholarship. Truong drove his daughter from Binh Phuoc to Ho Chi Minh City on November 16, staying at a relative's house to attend the program on November 17. Truong said that his family has no land, 4 children, Giang is the eldest, and his siblings do whatever they are hired to do, making life unstable.
