Hai Phong Port hands over all wharves to serve the construction of Nguyen Trai Bridge

Hai Phong Port Joint Stock Company has relocated people and assets, and handed over the entire remaining wharf area to serve the construction of Nguyen Trai bridge and urban beautification.

Representatives of Ngo Quyen ward leaders, Ngo Quyen area project management board, Hai Phong Port Joint Stock Company conducted the handover and reception of the site in the field.

On December 5, the People's Committee of Ngo Quyen Ward organized a site reception to implement the Nguyen Trai Bridge Construction Investment Project and urban beautification of the surrounding area for the land area recovered from Hai Phong Port Joint Stock Company.

At the handover, representatives of the People's Committee of Ngo Quyen Ward, the Project Management Board of Ngo Quyen area and Hai Phong Port Joint Stock Company agreed on the content and signed the field handover minutes for the remaining recovered land area of ​​about 212,074 ^m2 of the enterprise to implement the Nguyen Trai Bridge Construction Investment Project and urban beautification of the surrounding area. The company will move people and assets, hand over the entire area of ​​wharves, yards...

After receiving the handed-over site, the Project Management Board of Ngo Quyen area coordinated with the People's Committee of Ngo Quyen ward to manage, prevent re-encroachment and continue to carry out handover procedures to the project investor, the Project Management Board for investment and construction of traffic and agricultural works in Hai Phong to implement construction according to regulations.

Previously, to implement the project, on May 31, 2024, Hai Phong Port Joint Stock Company signed a handover record of the entire Hoang Dieu Port area with an area of ​​more than 304,074.4 ^m2 .

The City People's Committee will temporarily lend Hai Phong Port Joint Stock Company production and business premises in 2025 while waiting for the completion of infrastructure at Lach Huyen Port.

Nguyen Trai Bridge area is under construction on the reclaimed land of Hai Phong Port Joint Stock Company.

In September 2024, the company also handed over the site of wharfs 1, 2, 3 (about 92,000 ^m2 ) to the contractor to construct Nguyen Trai bridge. Up to now, the remaining site within the reclaimed boundary has been handed over, creating favorable conditions for continuing to implement the project's works, ensuring progress according to the city's instructions.
