TPO - According to the latest information from the Ministry of Education and Training, the virtual selection process for admission in 2025 (after 10 times) will end at 12:30 today, August 22. After that, universities and colleges will enter the admission scores and admission results into the system. This means that schools will be able to announce their admission scores right from that time.

According to regulations from the Ministry of Education and Training , the results of the first round of admissions for 2025 will be announced before 5 PM on August 22nd.

The Ministry of Education and Training stated that this year, due to the larger number of candidates applying for university and college admissions, and also because it is the first year that colleges are participating in the admissions process, eliminating early admissions and using all admission methods in the first round, the period for eliminating "virtual" applications has to be extended.

To ensure accurate and fair admission results, the Ministry of Education and Training requests that universities urgently review all data, admission methods, and potential scenarios, given the large amount of candidate data being used. Universities also need to carefully consider and propose appropriate quotas for "ghost" applications (applications from students who register but do not intend to enroll) to avoid large numbers of such applications that could negatively impact other universities' recruitment sources, as well as exceeding their enrollment quotas and training capacity.

Some schools have given specific deadlines for announcing the cut-off scores to candidates this afternoon.

Hanoi University of Science and Technology announced its enrollment schedule at 4 PM on August 22nd. Meanwhile, the National Economics University announced its schedule at 4:56 PM on August 22nd, with the expected enrollment period for new students from 8 AM on August 25th to 5 PM on August 31st.

The Water Resources University is expected to announce the scores before 5:00 PM today.

According to Master Pham Thai Son – Director of the Admissions Counseling and Communication Center – Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade, the university will make the announcement at 6:00 PM today.

The University of Finance and Marketing will announce this at 7:30 PM on August 22nd, during a special live broadcast on the university's digital platforms.

Hoa Sen University is expected to announce the admission cutoff scores at 4 PM on August 22nd.

After 11 rounds of virtual filtering, many universities have projected higher admission scores compared to last year, with several majors reaching over 29 points.
