Announcing the Rector of Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy for the 2025 - 2030 term

Professor Nguyen Vu Quoc Huy continues to hold the position of Rector of Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy for the 2025-2030 term to develop the school into a leading medical training institution in the country.

On September 9th, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, held a ceremony to announce the resolution of the Hue University Council recognizing Professor Nguyen Vu Quoc Huy as continuing to hold the position of Rector of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy for the term 2025-2030. Prior to this, he had a successful term from 2020-2025.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Professor Nguyen Vu Quoc Huy stated that, based on the achievements of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, in the past, the action slogan for the upcoming 2025-2030 term is encapsulated in four letters "ABCD": Academic and Business Excellences – Community Reputation – Digital Transformation & Innovation.

During the 2025-2030 term of the rector, the school has set the goal of successfully implementing 5 major projects and programs, including: the Project on Developing the School and School Hospital according to the school-hospital model; and 4 programs: Completing the organizational structure and developing human resources for the school, school hospital, and family doctor clinic; Developing professional activities, improving the quality of training and healthcare for the people; Developing science and technology, promoting innovation - entrepreneurship, digital transformation, and international cooperation activities; and Developing financial resources and physical infrastructure for the school, school hospital, and family doctor clinic.

"I will continue and build upon the excellent achievements from the rich history of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University, leveraging the collective intelligence and strength to together lead the university to new heights," Professor Nguyen Vu Quoc Huy affirmed before all delegates, staff, lecturers, and students of the university.

Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, one of the leading prestigious medical training institutions in the country, will develop according to the university-hospital model to meet national standards by 2030 and aim to meet international standards by 2045.
