Quang Tri Power Company (PC Quang Tri) currently manages and operates a power grid system comprising 8 110 kV substations with a total capacity of 360 MVA, 3 intermediate substations with a total capacity of 25.2 MVA, 2,486 load substations with a capacity of 645.4 MVA, and 390.15 km of 110 kV lines, 2,228 km of medium-voltage lines, and 4,001 km of low-voltage lines.

In 2024, thanks to the efforts of all staff and employees, Quang Tri Power Company (PC Quang Tri) successfully completed its tasks, achieving and exceeding 51 out of 52 annual plan targets. Accordingly, the Quang Tri province's power system operated safely, providing stable and high-quality electricity to serve socio-economic development, national defense and security, and meet the electricity needs for production and daily life of the people. Commercial electricity output reached 881.1 million kWh, an increase of 8.8% compared to 2023.

The daily peak power capacity of the Quang Tri province's grid is 169.4 MW, an increase of 14% compared to 2023. Electricity losses based on commercial electricity sales reached 2.87%, a decrease of 0.31% compared to the plan. Reducing electricity losses is identified by Quang Tri Power Company as one of its key tasks. Therefore, the unit has implemented many measures to reduce losses, contributing to improved business efficiency and ensuring stable electricity supply for customers.

To achieve and surpass the core targets mentioned above, Quang Tri Power Company completed 44/44 major repair projects, with a total settlement value of VND 33.154 billion; completed the energization of 22/22 construction investment projects; achieved a disbursement rate of 100% compared to the allocated capital plan; and 100% of bidding packages were conducted online with a savings rate of 10% through bidding.

In addition, the unit has made efforts to implement solutions to improve the quality of customer service, shortening the time to access electricity to 1.37 days/project; continuing to expand cooperation with banks and intermediary payment organizations to diversify electricity bill payment channels, achieving 100% cashless payment. The company focuses on implementing comprehensive solutions regarding occupational safety and hygiene; absolutely ensuring safety in production and traffic safety throughout the company.

In 2024, Quang Tri Power Company (PC Quang Tri) did not experience any labor accidents or fires. The company's occupational safety and health work has become increasingly systematic and in-depth. With the motto "Safety to go home," the company's occupational safety and health team, through various creative methods and approaches, has spread widely and deeply into every officer, employee, and worker. As a result, in recent years, the company has successfully ensured fire safety and prevention, preventing any fire or explosion incidents.

In particular, the implementation of the contents of Directive No. 1831/CTEVN, dated April 4, 2024, of EVN has been carried out effectively. The company and its affiliated units have developed disaster prevention and search and rescue plans. The affiliated units have closely followed the hypothetical scenarios developed in these plans to carry out the implementation.

Through this, lessons learned in disaster prevention and search and rescue operations were drawn. The company requested that all units implement the work contents according to the plan. They were also instructed to strengthen grid inspection, address shortcomings, and proactively prepare for and respond to natural disasters when they occur.

Over the past year, Quang Tri Power Company also actively participated in supporting the construction of the 500 kV circuit 3 Quang Trach - Pho Noi power line, contributing to bringing the project to completion on schedule as assigned by the Government to the power sector; and participated in supporting the recovery from damage caused by typhoon No. 3 Yagi at Quang Ninh Power Company. Technical innovation and scientific research were maintained and widely disseminated to all staff and workers, with many innovative solutions to rationalize production, bringing high efficiency to the unit's production and business.

In 2024, the company conducted an internal audit of business supervision and customer service at power plants, focusing on specific areas such as metering equipment management, rooftop solar power management, and electricity trading supervision.

The inspection revealed shortcomings in operational procedures and proposed solutions to improve the management of metering systems, rooftop solar power management, and electricity trading monitoring.

Coordinate with the Department of Industry and Trade and local authorities in enforcing administrative penalties in the electricity sector and promoting safe and economical electricity use, warning customers about violations of electricity usage regulations. Regularly utilize shared software programs such as MDMS, CPM, CMIS, Spider, and dmtmn.cpc.vn to promptly detect and handle cases of electricity usage violations and violations of rooftop solar power capacity limits.

According to Phan Van Vinh, Director of Quang Tri Power Company, electricity operations have unique characteristics that require strict adherence to procedures and discipline throughout the entire process.
