Currently, many businesses have started to register for paid AI accounts to serve some of their business activities. According to the survey, AI features are used by businesses such as writing website content to improve web rankings on Google with quality content; social content to increase interaction and attract followers with content strategies on fanpages; creating video scripts to attract and retain viewers on TikTok, YouTube with creative and unique scripts.

Ms. Ho Nhat Phuong, Director of SBC Hoang Gia Company Limited, said that she and her staff apply AI quite a lot in business activities, especially in designing social media posts, promoting, and designing brands for each product and each platform. In addition, the company's staff also applies AI quite effectively in planning weekly, monthly, and quarterly business, thereby setting out key tasks for each team to achieve the planned goals. Currently, AI has helped the company save more than 20% of work and time. The company has many plans for its staff to participate in AI training courses to optimize business processes to improve work efficiency with AI.

Help businesses catch trends

AI is providing great support to businesses, however, many businesses have yet to recognize the impacts that AI is bringing.

At the training course “AI Business Master: Applying Gen AI to increase efficiency and reduce costs for businesses” recently organized by the Department of Finance in collaboration with the CEO Club, Mr. Dang Huu Son, Founder & CEO of LovinBot - Startup surveyed 100 businesses participating in the class on “Which businesses have applied AI in their work?”, only about 50% said they have applied AI in some business activities. With the second question, “Which businesses have paid accounts for an AI application?”, only 2-3 hands out of 100 participating businesses raised their hands.

Meanwhile, survey data from Meta in the Vietnamese market shows that 93% of businesses have applied at least one AI tool to communicate and approach customers. Thus, businesses are very ready to accept technological innovation. However, as shared by Mr. Dang Huu Son, businesses are still only applying AI based on experience, not yet managing the process of using AI, leading to risks for businesses such as communication crisis, data control, data security. This is one of the problems that business owners need to clearly define before starting to apply AI into operations.

In addition, in reality, many businesses still do not know how to take advantage of AI, how to start to increase application efficiency to contribute to improving labor productivity. These difficulties of businesses have been identified and are receiving support from the government, related sectors, especially the Department of Finance. The evidence is that in April and May 2025 alone, the Department of Finance has continuously coordinated with units such as: Hue CEO Club, Business Association to organize AI training courses in a practical style, helping businesses get acquainted and improve the effectiveness and efficiency in applying AI. From there, helping businesses cut costs and optimize work performance.

Training courses that are considered effective for businesses include: “AI Business Master”; “Optimal solutions for businesses using artificial intelligence applications”. These are also training courses with a large number of businesses registering, exceeding the initial expected number. Organizing units must stop accepting registrations early and have plans to open other enhanced training courses to both meet the needs of businesses and ensure the quality of training programs.

Ms. Le Thi Hong Mai, Head of the Business Registration Office, Department of Finance, shared that the department is continuously implementing capacity building training courses according to the needs of enterprises to help enterprises take advantage of the advantages to promote business development. These training courses will be conducted in a practical style with contents related to AI applications, multi-channel sales, cash flow management; 1:1 consulting in building business development strategies. Enterprises can proactively contact the Business Registration Office or associations to register to receive support packages that the department and the city are implementing.

To continuously develop and integrate internationally, enterprises also need to change their mindset in approaching AI to optimize the process. As shared by Master Tran Minh Trong, enterprises need to have a strategy of "play, learn, work" with AI. When using AI, they also need to be responsible and ethical in using it, focusing on "real goods, real quality", respecting the ideas and copyrights of AI, ensuring the principle of "learning to play is free to use, but when working, you must invest in using paid applications to ensure quality".
