Da Nang spends more than 150 billion VND to expand Da Nang Hospital

NDO - On October 30, the People's Council of Da Nang City approved the investment policy for the Da Nang Hospital expansion project with a capital of more than 150 billion VND.

Accordingly, the scale of the Da Nang Hospital expansion project, the connection of technical infrastructure systems and auxiliary items including compensation, clearance of the state-owned collective housing area managed by the Da Nang Housing Management and Exploitation Center, signed lease contracts with 9 households, 12 land plots of households and individuals with certificates of house ownership and land use rights. The estimated cost of compensation and site clearance is more than 80 billion VND.

Dismantle items, relocate existing works including items belonging to the old Da Nang Hospital (1-storey technical building; 1-storey warehouse; 2-storey laundry and supplies building), items belonging to the Cardiovascular Center, technical infrastructure items, relocate laundry equipment, medical gas equipment, etc.

The project will build a new 3-storey Technical and Auxiliary Building; an additional connecting corridor system on the 2nd floor located outside the Cardiovascular Center area to connect the existing 2-storey bridge with the main staircase lobby of the Cardiovascular Center; build a new fence system, gate, guard house; technical infrastructure items...

Regarding land use area, the construction items are located in a land area of about ^2,900m2 (of which, land belonging to the Cardiovascular Center is nearly ^820m2 , land belonging to the old Da Nang Hospital is more than ^2,000m2 ); the technical infrastructure connection area is nearly ^600m2 .

After the adjusted expansion planning, the Da Nang Hospital campus has a total area of about ^31,700m2 .

The project investment is necessary to completely connect the technical infrastructure system around Da Nang Hospital and synchronously connect with the newly invested and constructed Cardiovascular Center.

The investment in expanding Da Nang Hospital will reorganize the architectural landscape space, increase the area and efficiency of the works in the Hospital; complete the investment, upgrade and improvement of the environment and landscape to serve the work of medical examination, treatment and health care for the people.
