Da Nang spends more than 150 billion VND to expand Da Nang Hospital

NDO - On October 30th, the Da Nang City People's Council approved the investment plan for the expansion of Da Nang Hospital with a capital of over 150 billion VND.

Accordingly, the Da Nang Hospital expansion project, connecting technical infrastructure systems and auxiliary items, includes compensation and complete relocation of the state-owned residential area currently managed by the Da Nang Housing Management and Exploitation Center, and the signing of lease contracts with 9 households and 12 plots of land belonging to families and individuals who already have Certificates of Ownership of Housing and Land Use Rights. The estimated cost for compensation and land clearance is over 80 billion VND.

Dismantle existing structures and relocate existing facilities, including items belonging to the old Da Nang Hospital (1-story technical building; 1-story warehouse building; 2-story laundry and supplies building), items belonging to the Cardiovascular Center, technical infrastructure items, and relocate laundry equipment, medical gas equipment, etc.

The project will construct a new three-story technical and auxiliary building; add an additional connecting corridor system on the second floor outside the Cardiovascular Center to connect the existing two-story bridge with the main elevator lobby of the Cardiovascular Center; construct a new perimeter wall, gate, and guardhouse; and other technical infrastructure items…

Regarding land use area, the construction items are located within a land area of ​​approximately ^2,900m² (of which, land belonging to the Cardiovascular Center is nearly ^820m² , and land belonging to the former Da Nang Hospital is over ^2,000m² ); the area for technical infrastructure connection is nearly ^600m² .

Following the revised expansion plan, the Da Nang Hospital campus has a total area of ​​approximately 31,700 ^m² .

The project investment is necessary to fully integrate the technical infrastructure system surrounding Da Nang Hospital and to ensure seamless connection with the newly constructed Cardiovascular Center.

The investment in expanding Da Nang Hospital will reorganize the architectural and landscape space, increase the area and efficiency of the hospital's facilities; and complete the investment, upgrading, and renovation of the environment and landscape to serve the examination, treatment, and healthcare needs of the people.
