DNO - On the morning of February 1st, the City's OCOP Product Evaluation and Ranking Council held a conference to evaluate and rank OCOP products for 2023. Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Chi Cuong presided over the meeting.

Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Chi Cuong acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts and dedication of the entities, production facilities, and units in perfecting and improving the quality to meet the OCOP classification criteria, especially those entities participating in upgrading their products from 3 stars to 4 stars.
The Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee expressed his hope that, after the ranking assessment, OCOP products would continue to be maintained, brought to consumers, and have their markets expanded for development. This would create distinctive products for each ward, commune, and the city; and help to reach and promote them to domestic and international tourists.
In 2023, the entire city had 48 OCOP products participating in the evaluation and classification process; of which, 36 were new products and 12 products were re-evaluated and upgraded.
At the conference, the council evaluated and ranked 26 products that had been preliminarily assessed by the district-level council as meeting the 4-star standard. Specifically, Ngu Hanh Son district had 2 products: Kinbe brand dried beef and butter-flavored shrimp from Davifood Vietnam Technology JSC; Cam Le district had 8 products: herbal toothpaste from Adeva Naturals Natural Products Co., Ltd., mackerel from Hong Phat Khang Trading and Service JSC, and 5 types of sesame brittle from Ba Lieu Me Sesame Brioche Production Facility.

Hai Chau District has 4 products participating in the evaluation and ranking, including: whole freeze-dried cordyceps and freeze-dried dried cordyceps from Da Nang Cordyceps Investment and Development Co., Ltd.; Hiyoufarm scented candles from Central Vietnam Production, Trading & Service Co., Ltd.; and Ong Chanh fermented pork sausage from Nguyen Chanh household business (participating in the re-evaluation).
Thanh Khe District has 6 products including: Thao Sinh beef sausage from Nguyen Phi Sinh business household, Cay Sang fish sausage from Nguyen Van Thao business household, children's rattan rocking chair and rattan clock from An Khe Rattan and Bamboo Cooperative, and a set of incense pens and handheld incense burners from Dana Elite Production, Trading & Service Co., Ltd.
Hoa Vang District has 6 products: sesame-baked coconut cakes and mung bean-baked coconut cakes from My Phuong Food Co., Ltd.; Peco Gold smoked pork sausage and Peco Gold pork sausage from PecoFood Co., Ltd.; Banarita Glamping Farm, an eco-tourism and agricultural development area, from Banarita Investment, Trade & Service Co., Ltd.; and ION-PRO alkaline ionized water from Toan Gia Phu Production & Trading Co., Ltd.
