Da Nang has 48 OCOP products participating in evaluation and classification in 2023

DNO - On the morning of February 1, the City's OCOP Product Evaluation and Classification Council held a conference to evaluate and classify OCOP products in 2023. Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Chi Cuong chaired.

Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Chi Cuong acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts and dedication of the subjects, production facilities, and units in perfecting and improving quality, meeting the OCOP classification criteria, especially the subjects participating in upgrading products from 3 stars to 4 stars.

The Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee hopes that after the classification and assessment, OCOP products will continue to be maintained, brought to consumers and expanded to develop the market. Thereby, creating typical products of each ward, commune and city; approaching and promoting to domestic and international tourists.

In 2023, the whole city has 48 OCOP products participating in evaluation and classification; of which, 36 are new products and 12 products participate in re-evaluation and upgrading.

At the conference, the council evaluated and classified 26 products that were preliminarily assessed by the district council to meet the 4-star standard. Specifically, Ngu Hanh Son district has 2 products including: Kinbe brand beef jerky and buttered shrimp shake of Davifood Vietnam Technology Joint Stock Company; Cam Le district has 8 products including: herbal toothpaste of Adeva Naturals Natural Products Company Limited, mackerel of Hong Phat Khang Trading and Service Joint Stock Company, 5 sesame crackers of various types of business household Mrs. Lieu Me Sesame Crackers Production Facility.

Hai Chau District has 4 products participating in the evaluation and classification, including: freeze-dried whole cordyceps and freeze-dried dried cordyceps of Danang Cordyceps Development Investment Company Limited; Hiyoufarm scented candles of Central Vietnam Production, Trading and Service Company Limited; Ong Chanh tre of Nguyen Chanh business household (participating in the re-evaluation).

Thanh Khe District has 6 products including: Thao Sinh beef sausage of Nguyen Phi Sinh Business Household, Cay Sang fish sausage of Nguyen Van Thao Business Household, children's rattan rocking chair and rattan clock of An Khe Bamboo and Rattan Cooperative, a set of incense pens and a set of portable incense burners of Dana Elite Production, Trading and Service Company Limited.

Hoa Vang district has 6 products: sesame-roasted coconut cake and green bean-roasted coconut cake of My Phuong Food Company Limited; Peco Gold smoked pork leg and Peco Gold pork sausage of PecoFood Company Limited; Banarita Glamping Farm eco-tourism and agricultural development area of Banarita Investment, Trading and Service Company Limited; ION-PRO alkaline ionized drinking water of Toan Gia Phu Production and Trading Company Limited.
